congrats.
but TK, can we get an answer to whether or not this random "super amazing success" that very very very rarely causesyour max possible experimentation to jump to a value that is higher than those same resources usually yield is a bug or not?
Those resources should ordinarily cap out at less than 99% experimentation. They should cap at 88%, and probably usually do. Am I right?

88 is correct.
However it is actually an "exceptional success". no bug about it.

Are you getting those because you are a force sensitive crafter?

k, i think i'm gonna try to get some more tapes. if you had to do 200+ modules with +20 experimentation i don't wanna even think about how many i would have to do with +0.

So it actually said "exceptional success?"
Man I am jealous, I have been crafting modules by hand forever trying to get one of those.
What Assembly bonus do you have?
Plus I would have thought a Manufacturing center would be better, becuase that added to assembly, research center adds to exp. Interesting.

no bonus to assembly
the success came as the first experimentation attempt
the initial craft was my standard 25% great success (for that particular object)
have people gotten it on the initial craft? perhaps there is more than one way to do it...
I was clicking pretty fast... so I'm only 99% sure thats where I saw it, but i seem to remember more boxes appearing after the first experimentation attempt, as i clicked away the box with that wonderful e-word... although it could have been on the initial craft, but im pretty sure it wasnt...
Last time this happened to me, before I knew what it was, the module came out to be a 94% max, and that was using a different copper (this hadnt shifted in yet, so i was using ~950 oq/cd)

You know, if they would have kept the crafting changes for a little while back we could make modules like this without many problems at all. I just realized that. But, we probably wouldn't have armor and weapons like we do now.

Hmmm yea that is different from how others were saying. They were saying they started with a higher % from the assembly stage.
I may need to talk to my mayor.

nobody got it on the initial craft, but based on what others have reported, something that happens during that initial craft step sometimes causes the cap on experimentation to be set higher than it usually is, and therefore enables them to experiment to a value that is higher than what the resources used would usually allow.

yup. for better or worse, those crafting changes would have benefited out profession immensely if they had beenkept in.
