My first ship, not including the starter ship, was a scyk named Blooded Horn. After I certified for a dunelizard, I upgraded to the lovely Bloodsport. I skipped the kimo because it was too slow, and would have stayed with the dunelizard due to sentimentality, but I got a stern lecture from my PA's second-in-command about not getting attached to expendable material possession. So I upgraded to an Ixeyn (however its spelled) that I named Expendable. A few weeks after that, they upgraded the mass limits on the ships, and since Expendable was ugly, I had the guild shipwright build me a nice 84k mass dunelizard that I named Battlecat. I flew that ship until the chassis was too damaged to use anymore, and bought my current dunelizard Shuree Narit (zabrak for 'I take-by-force'). Also somewhere between the two dunelizards I mastered pilot and bought myself a YT-1300, and later obtained a M22-T Krayt that is named Coila Linare (zabrak for 'For Family')

Now the story of the names for the YT is long. It started before I mastered, when a good in game friend of mine decided to leave the game to beta test matrix online. He left my character with a sizable chunk of credits, which he suggested she use to buy a ship, as they had often talked about getting a ship and flying together. Then he went home and 'committed suicide.' My toon, broken up about it, decided to fulfill her last joke with him and name her eventual YT after he departed friend. Agonizing over names for weeks, I discarded the vague 'Druken Barmate' and the tasteless 'Cap'n Suicide' to go with the strait to the point name of 'The Idiot Url'. This name stuck for several month, until suddenly, my friend returned! Back from the dead he became first mate and opps opperator of the YT, and turned nicely red every time he had to say the name of the ship he flew on.

Eventually after much nagging, I changed the name of the ship to the Revenant, less embaressing but still named after my now un-dead friend.
