Didn't bother naming the starter ship; my regular Tie, Rook; my Tie/In, KnyghtFlyer. I'll probably name my bomber Queen's Gambit. Whaddya want, my name's Chess

My X-wing is called 'Ginger Midget' after a brief 'encounter' I had with a not so choice young lady.

I had "Incom POS" for my Z-95. Lol.
I've been through so many names with my ships. I had a Y-Wing from the start of Tier 1 up to the start of Tier 2 (I get the next craft up first, to fit in the extra mass for decent reactors and stuff - no use getting better equipment if you can't carry it). That started out as "Strike One", and flipped about to all kinds of things as I continually changed my mind. Then I switched to the flame paintjob, and was called the "Firestorm". At the same time, my Vet Yacht was called the "Starburst" (Farscape tribute...and it matched with Firestorm).
I then started pondering about how to fit my fighters in with my character. My character is a former Stormie, turned Rebel, who spent some time as a freelance Mercenary/BH in the middle. His name is Orbren Valorra. I was trying to decide what ships to have. I didn't want to just have Rebel ones, because I wanted a personal ship that he could have hypothetically owned before joining the Rebellion. That alone excluded the X-Wing, A-Wing and B-Wing (which I haven't qualified for yet anyway. Lol). The novelty of the Vet Yacht has worn off somewhat now, and having one on every character feels a little lame. That left me with the Z-95 and the Y-Wings. Having scrapped my Z-95 (stupidly) to free up space for my Longprobe, I now have a Y-Wing and a Longprobe set up in my datapad, called the "Valorrian I" and "Valorrian II" respectively (as a tribute to Back to the Future. Lol). However, I'm going to change the Valorrian II as I progress. Ideally, I want the Valorrian I to be a tricked out Y-Wing, and the Valorrian II to be an ARC-170...but that all depends on how the cookie crumbles, and where the crumbs land after RotW.
