Well here is the thing.
If whatever you do as Jedi doesn't affect my SWG experience, then well who cares? go ahead, have all the power you want and go wild.
But if what Jedi do affects my gaming hours. Then Nope, not gonna just let you run around with impunity.
And ya'll keep brining up the fact that most profession take 30 hrs to master while it took you months to get your Jedi.
Are you people on some kind of special "get whipped into Jedi" program that I don't know about?
If two person create their account in same day, and spent 6 months playing, One person may master his profession in 30 hours while another will have Master Jediafter 6 months.
But let see how that 6 months are spent.
First person master his profession in 3 days. Then what? he go relaxing in cantina for 6 months while naked chics bring him beer all day? they just give him stuff for free and he is living large?
Here is a shocker. No. He actually continue playing. He log in, get buffed, get missions and occasionally he go to dungeons and maybe big game hunt.
Now doesn't that sound famillier?
When I was holo-grinding, I log in, got buffed, got mission and went and killed. When I got bored, I logged in my main for few hours and went to dungeon and big game hunt with my PA buddies. And after I unlocked my Jedi, I loged in, got buffed, got mission and went and killed.
What is the difference?
Just how YOU as Jedi "sacrificed" for 6 months? you get same buff and you get same mission and you do same stuff that 90% of combat profession do everyday. Yet some how when YOU do it it is more difficult? more "noble"?
It isn't like you went out and helped a homeless for 6 months.
You sat in your chair and played a game like rest of us for 6 months.
Just how little have you achived in your life so that you want THIS to be recognized as your"big" accomplishment?
eesh!

More like 3 hours, go to prof's forum, read guide and practice it with some friends for a few hours. How long does it really take to learn to eat food, drink brandy, hit COB macro, dizzy, lunge, scatter hit 2?
if been squad leader since the begin and i am still learning things everyday
I've spent just as much time in my template / gameplay as any jedi. I should be just as powerful as them.

Sigh, all you did to get Jedi was master a bunch of profs that take 3 days to master. Thats where my animosity comes from. All it took to get Jedi was an abundance of time, not skill.
No some took 1 day and some took weeks like weapon smith.
I cant wait for all the FOTM to get the nerf bat. So us Jedi can laugh

When will people like you realize that no matter how bad mastering profession as means of unlockign really was, at it's core it ensured only people with the determination and willpower will make it. Those attributes are even more required _after_ you have unlocked. But of course people or should I say losers like you who want everything without any effort will never realize or accept this.

The fact that u must complete a mission before u are given the chance to level up is stupid.
The fact that u must group to even have a chance at becoming "master pilot" is even more insane.

Well I can certainly see that you are a man in a hurry, so I'm sorry that pilot is such a time consuming prof. I can always pick out a type-A personality by their ability to save two whole characters by abbreviating you, to u. I mean it is clear just from that that you aren’t the kind of guy who can find the copious time it takes to do a few missions on the way to master or do something crazy like make a few buddies, I suggest you find some sort of exploit that takes you right to Master, no time gotta run. Good luck ace.

Couldn't hold myself....Thiscopied-pasted from our local SWG forum.*Someone* asks:
"кста, про джедаев...вот заинтересовался про световые мечи, которые типа продают. Кто-нить знает что это такое и как это работает?"
Translation: "Btw, about jedi... I am very intrigued by lightsabers, ones you could buy in real life. Somebody knows what is it and how it works?"

wait... you mean they don't exist?
my hopes... my dreams.... crushed!
though i did read something a while ago saying that one of the main reasons a lightsaber could not work is that the energy would simply go off forever in one directionrather than forming a blade... read in some SW source that the blade is actually an extremely tight "loop" though.
