Well, to take a que from our worthy American friends, I did a little digging with a mate; it would actually be possible to launch a civil action against Activision for false-advertising, under UK law. Providing its possible to prove that the reason they pushed back the release date is because of GTA:SA, which shouldnt be too hard considering all the major chainstores already have their stock, either in backrooms or in their distribution warehouses.

I am living in germany at the moment, so I ordered the english version through a german retailer. it arrived this morning, and I know of 3 other people who got it (from the same retailer) today.
The manual and such is in german, so its not an US import version.
I understand your anger, at least the Shipwright argument is true. Pilot-wise, I dont see a week making a difference, as it takes a while to grind it anyways, plus you dont have to engage other Master Pilots before you are 4444.
If you expect Master Pilot to be significantly stronger than 4444, and thus an issue of balance, rest assured player skill is far far more important than the gear or the exact character skill level.
And there are no dot weapons

At the end of the day its like films and all other things made in america, they get it first and everyone comes second best (Its there thinking) and its discrimination to all the other countries treating one self over all when u offer such qualities to all.
Its not fair, we cant do anything but i know im canceling my pre order of jtl, think ill stop my second account too
