Sadly sitting here talking about this isnt going to do anything 
Need some sort of complaint over the fact that american players get treated like they own the world (as they like to think so) which is discrimination
Surely we have some rights in this somewhere?

Im from scotland and i dont like this about JTL being late on release but i still dont think its fair that people that do have it wont get to play it just cause they are on a certain server we should just blaim the devs of who ever

I think it is fair to stop JtL on euro servers.
It's been released in the US and it's available on the US servers.
It hasn't been released in europe and isn't available on the euro servers.
That sounds fair, the American's who have a main character on a euro server shouldn't be able to play JtL until the 5th. Like so many people have been quick to say "it's only a couple of days stop whining."
Fair enough I say, join us in the wait.

Peeps,
This has nothing to do with where you live, this is about fair play to all players.
Announcing a release date then at the 11th hour pushing it back 9 days for some of the community is really pathetic.
This is a very sad state of affairs but i must say there are always people who love to get an advantage over others, thats all you who condone this type of action.
If the Europeans have servers then I really cant see anyone objecting to holding the release until everyone can enjoy it on the same level.

Everyone in the UK has my deepest sympathy over this issue. I think it is unfair that you're not getting the game at the same time as we are and I feel it would have been better for SOE to delay the push to live for ALL the servers rather than have this split. That being said, I wonder if anyone can explain to me if this isan SOE issue for just a distributor/shipper issue. It seems to me that SOE fullfilled their part of the deal and the gamestores are the ones having trouble delivering the product. If that is the case I suggest a mass complaint to companies like gamestop and EB for their short-sightedness. I bet they have HUNDREDS of copies of Grand Theft Auto in stores right now. Screw GTA, some of us play other games. Am I way off-base here guys?

Firstly I'm sorry some people think I'm being selfish by suggesting a fair way to proceed from this mess might be to hold JTL on 2 or 3 servers out of the many there are. Those who have the game will be able to play on the other ones, admittedly if there main characters are on the European servers they will be annoyed but surely everyone wants a fair crack of the whip. By starting9 days earlier than the rest of us this will not be the case. Some people will be overly powerful before the rest of us get to even have a go.
Secondly, I'm not blaming anyone for the mess, especially not the devs but as far as I see it people will be alot happier if they have a server or two where things are not american biased and where everyone is starting at the same place at the same time. The devs can do this and it would be an easy patch. We got a patch to enable, all it needs is a patch to disable...
I can wait for a week - thats not the issue. After I've waited my week I want to start at the same place as everyone else - is that really too much to ask.
For those of you who say a week is not long to wait why are we moaning well surely a week is not too long for those on European servers to wait....???

looks like money is going to take2 then gta it is if i cant get jtl if i get a late start may as well wait till its in the 2 for £20 or somthing lol.
and waht would happen if there was huge gatherings in magger places on american servers? lol (dont do this only a joke)

Well for your information, it IS Activision that is the European LA distributor, and while I really hate the delay, I think this has to do with the shipping of the game, not places like Gamestop or EB... theese are stores, not distributors..... Imagine having to ship out I don't know how many copies of JTLSto us here in Europe, that will inevitably take some time.... Yeah it sucks, but this is the way it is, poor management bye SOE or LA??? Possibly, but it's to the shipping firms you should sendcomplaints, not SOE or LA.....
