Once you get padawan (after trials) your new char comes active.

You make your lightsaber

You get your robe at the same time you get your new character slot

Hi

I've just started BH and was wondering a couple of things:

1. When hunting a jedi is there any point in wearing armor as it has no resists to lightsabers?

2. Whats a good stat migration for bh. Currently without buffs I have 450 Health and action, all my sub stats are maxed out and my mind is 1300 (Mon cal). Like this it means I more or less rely on being buffed to kill anything. So is it a good one for Bh, or would i be better increasing my H and A?

1. You are correct, there is no point in wearing armor when fighting a Jedi. However, if the Jedi is grouped with other professions you may want armor to deflect their damage on you. Also, if the Jedi is found near mobs who can be aggro'd, e.g. the forests of Endor, then you may want armor on just in case .

2. As far as stat migration, best thing to do IMO is max out your mind stats and then evenly distribute the rest in health and action. Im always doc buffed when tracking Jedi so my mind is alwaysweakest.

#1) Nope, i run around im my trusted Tusken Suit.. But you might want armor if he is with other people! I have been jumped by Jedi gank squads many times and the TKMs do some damage if they KD you and you have no armor on..

#2) I'm a Zabrak and have maxed out my secondary stats on Heath & Action and i belive my ham is like H=800/A=850/M=900, i have not maxed out Mind stats.. Reson for this setup is that i fight much unbuffed and need more then Health and Action! The best PvP thing would be to max out Mind and all secondary stats and only fight buffed!

1. What armor if any should I wear as a BE? I really have no combat classes (unless you count CH)

2. Can you get +25 from a single tailor enhancement?

3. I take it only tailors can put the actual enhancements on the clothes, correct?

4. What items increase mask scent and what items should I use to get +mind so I can sample more before resting?

5. How should I allocate my stats?

Thanks

FYI I am a Master BE.

1) Armor: As the damage you might get as a BE would be from a pissed off rancor or such, you want a high kinetic resist. As a lot of the big nasties have poison or disease, you might also consider a disease or poison buff. But, if you learn to understandwhat the animals reactions mean, you can get by without armor, or a buff. I commonly go out with nothing more than my carbine and Brandy or a mind buff. Really, we aren't looking for a fight....just DNA. By the time the creature aggros and turns around to strike, I am speeding away and have hit peace 10 times already!

2) +25 isn't possible. For thesetissues the tailor will actually use 2 of them,so +13 is just fine.

3) You make the BE tissues and the tailor incorporates them into his/her clothing.

4) Jawa beer will increase your mask scent. Brandy is good for bumping up your mind (And no downside like Muon). You can also get a mind buff from an entertainer.

5) Stats...This one might be a bit tricky, as everyone is sure to have their own personal preference. I personally have allocated more to Mind, since Health and Action will be augmented with a buff...So even if my brandy wears off, I still have 1000 Mind.

FYI) Also, I would recommend getting a giant carrion spat mount (Supposed to be the fastest in the game). When you go DNA hunting have your pet in "Follow" mode. No matter what happens or where you wander, your escape vehicle is always near you. This works well for most critters, but beware that there are several that can run faster! Walk up to your target, dismount, sample and immediately remount. If the creature aggros all you have to do is run. I have NEVER been killed sampling in this way.

Hope this helps,

I use vasarian brandy or canape. Dont mess with muon gold unless you're short on cash, its not worth the downer.

If you're worried about DNA sampling HAM costs, put it mostly into mind, but good substats in both mind and action. I think I have Health as 800/400/400, Action 800/450/450 and Mind 1100/500/500 (I am human btw).

I dont use buffs at all though when sampling. If you are planning to do so, throw everything into Mind, take one drink of brandy and you'll be fine.

I use this method as well, and have only been killed when a nightsister spawned ontop of me I use a vehicle though, and since I am a ranger, I can still ride right up to pretty much everything without being detected, including MRs. When I was only 4/0/4/0 Scout, I had to have jawa beer, plus mask scent BE clothes, but I could ride up to pretty much anything BUT rancors, including all endorian creatures. I dont know if a pet is less detectable by rancors, I never tried that.
