He said All preorders, so I assume he means if you preorder the game from anywhere, including the Lucasarts online store.

I just preordered via GameStop and it game to £25.62 including shipping. That's still about £4 cheaper than most games go for here.

(Shipping to the UK, that is)

It would "only" cast me 24.99 on gamestop... to make them send it... and the 29.99 for the game... this is very annoying....

So, I have a question.

What about us long time vets who get the Lady Luck type starship as well?

Does this mean if we pre-order, we get two free ships?

Any Ideas on what tis speeder looks like? Will this vehicle be disableable? I dont wann run out and spend the cash if this is something that can be destroyed.

Well, I think it would actually be one free ship and one free speeder, but yes.

The Naboo Speeder you get for pre-ordering is a ground vehicle. It's been speculated that it will be basically indestructible, but I guess we'd need TH to comment on that. I'm guessing it will be able to be disabled, but repairable still at that point.

There's a photo of it on the ebgames.com website for those who haven't seen it yet. Looks pretty swell to me

Sorry. Seems to me you Europians got kinda screwed.

But as to the high price of importing, maybe you should see if you have any friends or family in the states that you trust. Have EB or GameStop send the game to them, then let them ship it to you. I don't really know if this would be cheaper or faster. Plus I'm not sure about the legalities of doing this. But I would look into it if I weren't in the states.

We're paying "so much" so we can get the bonus speeder, which you won't get by pre-ordering it from SR in the UK.

Having said that, it's only costing 5 pounds more than the official retail price anyway... (and of course unlessHM Customs decide to add a few quid on.. )

The speeder has nothing to do with beta.

You get the pre-order CD.

You enter THAT key with your copy of the JTL retail disc.

Enjoy speeder.

I would also like to know how us europeans can get the flash speeder. The gamestop site says international customers dont get the bonus disk. and EBgames DOES NOT SHIP TO UNITED KINGDOM. which is a bit wierd, in the drop down list to add your address there is no United Kingdom, no England and no Great Britan. Looks like americans forgot about your "closest ally" again. Nice One.

So I ask again, how am I suppose to get the flash speeder? the game stores in england say squat about a bonus disk.

hmmm, I preordered through EB games in Canada here and they can't even tell in if they will get the preorder boxes or if we get the flash speeder. It appears according to them SOE is not giving it to Canada. But they also said they are waiting to here more. SO DO CANADIAN PREORDERS FROM CANADA'S EBGames GET THE DISC AND THE SPEEDER?

For those that have been asking, the Flash Speeder will be made available to those who purchased the preorder once JTL goes live.

All well and good, but why did you originally tell us we would start seeing the speeders around 10/01?...
