I have to add a No to this.

Space content for proffesions... sure why not.

Player bounties in space... Heck no.

What is the saying "space, where an image desigener can pwn a jedi" or something.

In my opinion jedi and all palyer charecters should start exactly the same in space, the players skills with a joystick and ship building should be what matters.

Who would like to see BH missions carry into space, and (when force rankin is back) permaovert jedi be perma overt in space?

almost forgot. /sign

want to see jedi suffer.

And they can have speciall skillsifthey also getPermadeath in space.

Ahhh the permadeath. got to love it ^^

Here's a thought, if Jedi get perma death in space, why not BH too?

icant see any need to kill bhs..

And permadeath is only needed if they get any special abilies in space. As Tomo said, space combat should not be affected by your ground profession.

There's as much reason to kill BH's as Jedi

But yeah, new skills wouldn't really be required. Visability would be a problem too. You couldn't have ground visibilty cross over into space. It would go against the whole idea of jtl being seperate from the ground. And if you had space bounty's then Jedi would demand space xp could be converted into FS xp.

and i guess my best solution to any jedi problems wont be accepted either: Kill all jedies(order 66 right? )

Good idea, then BH's can take over as the most over used temp in SWG

There are so many other professions worthy of Dev time, that expanding the mission dynamic for the two professions that have gotten the most dev time since launch, is not something I could ever support.

Basically I put it in the terms of every prof deserves a fair share, and these two have gotten more than that. They don't deserve too much in the way of directed new content until many many other things have been addressed.

Last thought, that I shouldn't need to even say, but since this thread exists at all, there's the potential you haven't realized this. Smugglers still can't smuggle, there can't be any serious proposals to give out profession directed content in space before that changes.

Actually I completly agree. A guildmate of mine is master smuggler and she would love some space content for her profession.

My responses on this thread are opinions on the origional post, not an endorsment of them. I would love to see more general content for JTL that all pilots can experiance.

I'm addicted to space

BH is already the most used prof in the game.

With space combat being based on 1-3 hit kills, haing a one way tef where the victim loses exp is just plain wrong. Yeah, I said victim. Jedi would have such little odds of surviving that kind of suprise alpha strike it wouldn't be fair to call it a fight.

Just because my post came after yours, doesnt mean the "you" was referring to you. If I were, I would have quoted ya.

Totally agree.

I think Jedi lossing xp at all is unfair.

And no, I'm not a Jedi or a BH

i have no problem with losing exp, just not in space where i would be at a huge disadvantage.

I think we can safely say that most pilotswould beagainst bounty's in space.

Besides we need to think bigger not smaller for JTL i.e. fleet battles

To get it to work without the children crying for force skills in space, it would have to be implemented in such a way that when the is killed the doesnt loose any XP (due to the quick nature of space PvP) but the BH gets his bounty.

This would have the second bonus of boosting space PvP as Jedi who dont want to loose XP would run for space.

Oh and you would have to make sorrosuubs destroyable during a space BH mission.

I think it would kinda cool to have pilot bounties in space. It could work alot like the ground game except instead of jedi they are rebel/imp bounties (either way for freelance depending on which way they can declare). Visibility would have something to do with how fast or how much faction you gain. Once you get enough visibility the other side puts a bounty on you. For example:

Leaph has been spending a ton of time in Deep Space and he gets enough visibility to get the Empire's attention. So random Imp pilot hits a faction space station and picks up his bounty mission. Via a /findfriend type of thing the Imp track down leaph and attempts to take him out as just like a /duel.

Of course this should be open (both visibility and the missions) only to master pilots so that it doesn't mess up any 2.5 hour missions. That is just an idea I had to bring a bit of the GCW in space.
