Thread: Resources
ok that helps explain it alot better for me..im also goin for doctor so maybe that will help..is it doctor medicine crafting that will help give me the needed attributes or a different doctor skill?
thanks for all the help guys i feel a bit stupid now cuz i made so much stuff and it came out good i thought and now i know it did come out good for my level so i guess ill quit with the factory stuff for now till i get the proper skills up in doctor and in cm (which exact skills will help me make the best meds and poisons and disease and cures and all that good stuff heheheeh?)
i just started making poisons and i guess im a bit confused
i ran supplies thru my factory for 2 weeks to make a ton of sub components i made to much of one kind and want to trade but am told they are to low quality to be worth it to anyone
what kind of supplies do you use for your supcomponents to make the advanced ones?
what quality numbers do you look for so that next time i dont wast 150k on resources and they dont turn out high enough to be sellable
Here are the ingredients for the Advanced poison subcomponents:

The advanced Resilience component is broke and doesnt work, so dont worry about using that one.
As for resources. If you are going to use regular subcomponents, you should make sure your resources have a overall quality greater than 700. 800-900 would be the best. Also look for high unit toughness in your chemicals and metals, and look for high potential energy in your organics.
If you do decide to use advanced subcomponents, then the resource quality is not so important, as an advanced component made with bad resources will still be better than a regular component made with good resources.
Also, you should be experimenting on everything to get it as high as possible.
I play on the Starsider server and what do you guys think of the more recent resources? I've noticed that after the last resource change the Lokian Wild Wheat has horrible quality and to get any good quality I have to pay 3000c for 250u which is pretty much a rip off. Also the Tatoonian fiberplast has decreased in quality. I was just wondering if anyone knew the names of the good quality lokian wheat and tatoonian fiberplast and a good concentrate waypoint.

Sorry for the first to wrong posts.
Heres the question.
Does the resources vary from server to server. Because on tattoine, briaserver i could find one type of resources, but on another server there was any 1 that was the same as with the bria server.
Your asumption is basically correct.
Every server has the potential for the same resources, but on any given server the deployed resources and the quality thereof is going to be different from any other galaxy.
Is there a page or does anyone keep a active list of resources commonly used by BE's? IE Avian Bone, WIld Meat...etc etc....
Just curious after planet hoping for 3 hrs tonight looking for decent avian bone, I figured we all do that from time to time.
I have a second computer with a 5 page Graph that I made up with all the resources I use and what they are for and what planet.
The sectret to success is get at least 40k of everything you use.
Tissues:
- creature food
- avian meat
- domesticated meat
- wild meat
- reptile meat
- carnivore meat
- herbivore meat
- insect meat
- dathomirian insect meat (pet stim C)
- bone
- avian bone
- hide
- scaly hide
- flora food
- cereal
- fungi
- talusian fungus (pet stim B)
- flowers
- endorian flower fruit (vitality C I think)
- berries
- flora structural
- Inorganic
- unknown radioactive (vitality C I think)
- known reactive gas (vitality B)
- fiberplast
- dantooine fiberplast (pet stim D)
- The Good Luck List
- fish (pet stim D)
- eggs
- mollusk
- seafood
- milk
Pet stims components require same ingredients as people stims components. The advanced components need:
- Lokian wild wheat
- herbivore meat
- talusian water
- dantooine berries
- tatooine fiberplast
- class 4 liquid petro fuel
Critters:
- creature food (meat)
- flora resources

Just How long does it take for resouces to become active?
I can't find OSTRINE CARBANATE ORE & PLUMBUM IRON.... I'm getting rather fed up.
Also Why is the Quailty on Desh Copper such crap? It is required for Adv. Vibro Knucks and if the stats didn't suck I probably could make knucks that were under 2.0 attack speed and did higher than 200+ max damage.
Weaponsmiths could make better equipment for the melee combat trees if the specifics were not dumbed down.
"Just How long does it take for resouces to become active?"
Well, it depends, I'll explain a little bit how the shift system works. OSTRINE ORE. Well, first off, its ore. Ore works ona 5 week cycle system, with a 5% randomizer on Ostrine, since its supposed to be rare. So, every 5 weeks, You get a 5% *7 chance of it popping in the next five weeks. The *7 comes from there being 7 letters in the class name. Simple eh?
Plumbum Iron though, that works a little differently. It spawns based on the amount of people who say "f" "s" "g" and "a". On a given planet. So if you have a group of CH's who dont type out the commands, but just say "f" "s" "g" and "a" a lot, on dantooine for example, it'll raise the chance of plumbum iron spawning. The base numbers for a plumbum spawn are 3% on a 4 week cycle *4 since it goes by "Iron" Instead of plumbum.
................Sometimes I'm just plain mean.
