What resources are needed for the good stuff we can make? I'm getting lazy putting large and med flora harvesters on 50% stuff because i don't feel like running around....If i knew some of the more important resources we need i could just find a good % and mass harvest it... This slightly goes hand in hand with my best sellers. What resources are needed for em?

Architects use copius amounts of ore. A 500 unit block of ore can easily go for 3000c on the bazaar. Any kind of high OQ metal, especially steel is usually in high demand. If i was going the miner route. Which it sounds like you are, I'd just harvest whatever what near by and in high concentrations because you're bound to sell it eventually.

Wrong key.

What resources do you doctors / medics / combat medics need. And what stats are important for your crafting. I am trying to gather whats needed.

Heres what i know already.

Tatooine Fiberplast / Lokian Wild Wheat / Dantooine Berry Fruit / Talus Water Vapor / Dolovite Iron.

- Generic Organic
- Generic Inorganic [preferable would be a high quality metal since one of our sub components uses metal]
Specifics by components
ABEC:
- Lokian Wild Wheat
- Tatooine Fiberplast
ALS:
- Dantooine Berry Fruit
- Talusian Water Vapor

I don't know the specifics for ASDSs or ACRDMs, mainly b/c they are near impossible to find [or maybe on Shadowfire, impossible] and thus I haven't used them at all myself.
For Generic Organic, the one I've been using is Corellian Domesticated Wheat [Egi], but I hear there is a better one somewhere... gonna hafta check on that one. For Generic Inorganic I use Corellian Steel [Duritekovi], have yet to find better.

Stats that matter are:
66% Overall Quality
33% Potential Energy -OR- 33% Unit Toughness [depends on the sub component]

For the smaller market of Doctors:
-Generic Seeds [for higher wound packs]
-Avian Meat [higher enhance packs]
-Reactive Gas [higher enchance packs]

==
That's all I can think of for now, any other medics/docs chime in if I forgot anything.

Looks like swgcraft.com is having some probs...may be down for a little bit as of this morning. Might need to check swgcenter.com for bit until they get their problems worked out.

I like swgcenter for schematics, but I love swgcraft for its resrource calculator.

Both are good sites.

Check that link. It will tell you how to look up resource quality and what resource characteristics you need for components. You can find the resources needed for advanced components by looking ant the schematics in your datapad.

Make sure you experiment. That makes all the difference in the world. The only problem is, however, doctors will be able to experiment more on combat medic components than master combat medics can. I am hoping this will be fixed in the next patch.

When you experiment on poisons and diseases, make sure you look at hte schematic to see what characteristics are altered by which experimentation catagories. For exampl...I always use some experimentation points on ease of use, not because my character won't be able to use the poison if I don't, but because it gives the poison a better chance of not being resisted by the target (iforget exactly what that is called).

Good luck...

see thats where i got confused i try to make everything in the advanced component line when i can find resources at good prices but my adv. liquid suspension crates ranged in strength from as low as like 20 to as high as 131 but someone posted to me on my server that they only would consider buying them or trading for them if it was in the 171 range and i cant see how they got it that high i always experiment and get everythng as high as i can before i make a crate guess in the beginning i didnt do as well

In order to get an Advanced LS up to 170, your resources would have to be in the 800-900 range, and you would have to be close to a master Doctor to get enough experimentation points to get it that high.

Since im a CM, I only craft those the same as a master Medic would, and with moderat 600-700 level resources i can get ALS's up in the 110-120 range fairly easily.
