I wasn't talking about the 25-30 year thing. I was talking about the having to scrounge point.
At this point in the timeline, the economy isn't so great. Also, there are locations in the galaxy, particularly in the Outer Rim, where supplies didn't reach too often, so people had to keep ancient vehicles alive if they wanted a car.
That makes sense. Notwhatever amount ofyears may have passed. 1 year, 1,000 years, don't matter.
However, to have a vehicle from Naboo in the Outer Rim would be questionable. Most people around Naboo should be able to afford much better vehicles and ships, and would probably be pompous enough to look down on anyone that owned such an old ship as the N1.

in the books, there is a rich tatooine guy names Huff Darklighter, maybe you've heard of him
he is in the outer rim, and he is so rich, that he has fountains on his tat estate in the books
just cause it seems unlikely doesn't mean it can't happen

Because, unlike the "other" games, this one does a pretty good job conforming to canon.
Sure, there are some things that aren't, but, for the most part, it is. It would be stupid to just throw up your hands and say, "These few things aren't canon, so let's scrap canon altogether!"
