Thread: 11.2 Mass changes make my 1 Million credit fighter useless

LOL.. I grew up back in the '80s, kiddo. Unfortunately, you forum-addicts will never change.
Intolerance for your petty crap does not equate to immaturity.

If you bought your ship the day before the change went in sorry to say but it's not going to be retroactive. Dev's said it would not be retroactive and gave their reasons why. (I'm not going to explain it, use search to find it.)They announced it over a week before, you bought your ship the day before. I'm assuming you didn't know this change was coming. If you did know the change was coming then sorry man you should have known better.
Where, exactly, did they announce it?
Would that be the forums?
You mean that place that a significant portion of the SWG player base DOESN'T visit, because it's a den of useless jerks and idiots?
What about those people who don't frequent the forums? Should they have known better, if they get caught in a similar situation to this guy's?
I suppose you think everyone who plays SWG should visit the forums.. then EVERYONE can be dragged down to this level of bitter, hateful, petty crap. I bet that would be really good for business.
It amazes me how much you people argue against any possible change if you don't see a direct benefit to it for yourselves. You people will bend over backwards crapping all over anything that doesn't immediately favor you.. but yet scream and howl when even the slightest inconvenience comes your way, as if the DEVs were breaking down your doors and ripping the food from your table.
DEVs ARE capable of changing their stance on things, you know.

Intolerance for your petty crap does not equate to immaturity.LOL!! How is suggesting to save your money because pre-publish mass cannot be changed equate to petty crap? You coming on and flaming a perfectly viable solution is what is petty, and, fortunately, I'm not the only one who can see that.
I grew up back in the 80's as well, and again, thanks for the "kiddo"
Makes me feel good when I still get carded at liquor stores too.
You and a few others are dismissing this guy's complaint solely based on the fact that you think he paid too much for the ship in question. THAT is the problem here.. get it through your thick skull.

I absolutely am not doing that!! What do you want me to do? Oh, ok here:
/comfort
/console
Ok, now that we got that out of the way, there is absolutely no way the devs can reset a dynamic stat. Next time, spend your money a little wiser. Research before you invest!!
There, is that better? I don't like to waste time. I just tend to cut to the chase.

Would that be the forums? (Also on the LaunchPad frontpage... you know that screen that loads before you login...)
You mean that place that a significant portion of the SWG player base DOESN'T visit, because it's a den of useless jerks and idiots? (Bitter much?)
What about those people who don't frequent the forums? Should they have known better, if they get caught in a similar situation to this guy's? (Absolutely, they should have read the information provided on their launchpad after entering their password and waiting to load ...)
I suppose you think everyone who plays SWG should visit the forums.. then EVERYONE can be dragged down to this level of bitter, hateful, petty crap. I bet that would be really good for business. (First off I wasn't flaming the guy, you seem to have figured out how to be an abusive jerk pretty fast. That would be the forums fault right? Not yours?)
(First off, I never posted anything about the mass changes, not too mention I actually pay attention to whats going on ingame. People were talking about this in-game long before it happened. Funny how you claim to be so much better than everyone else and you're in here flaming like a troll... Also if you actually read what I said..... IF YOU ALREADY KNEW THIS CHANGE WAS COMING.....)
DEVs ARE capable of changing their stance on things, you know. (True Devs are capable of changing their stance on stuff... but if you read what the Dev's said about it you would know why in this case I doubt they will.)

Thats BS Vegitaa. Should have known better? When a majority of the players don't even READ these forums?
I guess they don't read their launchpad screens either? You know the one with links to current events, or the part that gives info about upcoming changes. Again, I say "IF YOU KNEW THESE CHANGES WERE GOING IN WHY WOULD YOU BUY A SHIP WHOSE MASS IS GOING TO CHANGE TOMORROW?" If you knew, it's your bad decision. If you didn't know sorry man thats how things work in multiplayer games.

what was the old max and the new max mass?
Rihkxyrk was 130k, now 190k.
Firespray was 180k now 215k, I think. Mine is 212k.
Don't know about the others.
1) You must have a different Launchpad than the rest of us. I seem to recall, for example, coming on early Tuesday as the servers were coming up and seeing it patch, but no patch notes for 11.2. I went to the forums to look them up, and got the What's On Deck posting. I know because Isreo logged in after I did and commented there were no patch notes, and I had to direct her to the forum for them. So, if the patch notes weren't there the morning of the patch, how could they have been there THE DAY BEFORE, when you assert that the original poster and non-forum-goers should've known better?
2) See #1.
3) Let's see.. I'm a jerk on a forum full of jerks.. yet the other forum I'm visiting as we speak seems to have no problems with what I'm posting THERE this morning.. funny, that forum isn't filled with jerks, and I'm treating them just fine. We're even joking around. No, there's no POSSIBLE connection there, right? But you just go right ahead and tell yourself that none of you possibly deserve to be treated the way you treat others around here.
4) Funny.. I play on 8 different servers, I've been on quite a bit the past week or two, I've frequently been to at least half of those servers I play on within that time frame, I've spent decent amounts of time hanging around high-traffic areas on several planets, and I've seen ZERO mention of the change in-game. So in addition to having a different Launchpad than you, I must be playing in a WHOLE OTHER GAME, right?
5) I don't care to read what they say.. I don't follow the DEVs around, hanging on their every word. I don't care if you think that what they claimed as their reasons will prevent them changing their minds at a later date. Change is always possible.. and frankly, you're a fool for having so much confidence in what the DEVs here say at any given point.. because from what I see from the complaints many of you post, what the DEVs say is often NOT what actually happens, when something actually happens. Circumstances change, stances change, people voice their opinions, other people voice them louder, you all start cat-fighting over it, the DEVs cave in to whomever made the most noises and scratched the most eyeballs out.
extra point: Isreo isn't a man.. and we're both SO glad you're such a freakin' expert at how things go in multiplayer games. Yeah, "that's how it goes" until something comes along that ticks YOU off, then you'll be screaming for everyone to hear about the injustice of it all. No, that is NOT "how things go" just because you say so. Sometimes things change.. just not you people here.
