well, if you got some friends, or hire someone to group up with. Then get the missions and have them complete them for ya.

Or, break down and either give up flying, or some entertaining skills and pick up combat.

Third option. drop freelance pilot and go imp or rebel pilot. You'll get enough fp from training to continue without combat.

Hmm, not sure how this became a stand-alone thread by hitting reply on another persons post. We all know SWG is one giant bug, could it be that anything associated with it becomes one too???

I just want to chime in here in effect. What I keep reading is everyone wants to get Jedi overnight. My only advice I can give you is just play the game and have fun. Once you get all 6 branches unlocked it is just a matter of time. Don't worry about it. Do your quests and unlock you branches. After that, just have a good time and have fun with the game, you will eventially get enough xp to be a jedi, just don't rush it, as the jedi grind ruins the game IMHO. Just have fun and unlock your branches and do it at your own pase. If you just grind it takes all the fun out of the game. I persaonlly have 6 branches unlocked and over 30 crystals saved up. However, I am doing it at my own pace and almost have 3/6 trees filled. It's not a reace and I just advice you to play your own style and have a blast doing what you like to do. Jedi at this point is a matter of time, there is no sense taking the fun out of the game just to get there. I just hope you play the way you usually play and have patience. I hope this all makes sense, but I have read way too many people that are trying to get Jedi asap. In the movies it takes years and years to make a jedi knight, I honestly believe that 2-3 months max won't hurt anyone. If you want a Jedi, then put the time into that it takes, but a constant grind is not the way to do it, I think you should enjoy the game and when it happends it will happen. I shall get off my soap box now that I have given my two cents.

I agree with Caerid_Loc. The FAQ says something like "Equiping your lightsaber in front of others"....Equiping being the key word, as in the verb tense meaning the act of equiping the saber. Not already having it equiped. My jedi has never once been on the BH terms and i'm around 10-15 people very often with robe and saber already equiped. As long as you don't double-click it in inventory within 32 meters of others you are fine based on my experience and my translation of the FAQ

Very good viewpoint, and thanks. I myself have been enjoying the game Jedi or no Jedi. Even though I am trying to get Unarmed and Combat xp I still take missions on the side just to do something interesting. It's the same as with the professions. I chose those because they were interesting. I would like to work on either one-handed or two-handed weapons experience.

However, the reality is that if I would have go give up Master Medic in order to do so and I have a feeling that I will still need it for the time being.

May the force be with you, always...

I have been grinding pretty slow. When I put my mind to it, I can max out Unarmed in 1 buff, which is usually my playing time per day. So I am going to be a while. But I have been finding new places to hunt, dont get stuck in the Dant. Huurton/quenker mission grind. Go experience new worlds. And have fun.

Very good idea. I think the whole idea is to have fun, not grind. Yes it is a grind, but it will be much better to just have fun doing. Sorry, I just can't get off that train of thought.
