A few mistakes in teh Friday feature TH-


First disruptors have a higher armor effectiveness normally, not ions.


And 1.0 would not do extra damage to the component, wouldn't it do the maximum damage the weapon is rater for?


1.0 > 0.45 so you would do more damage over a 0.45 weapon, but not more damage than the weapon is rated for.

That said, anyone actaully seen a 1.0 effective weapon?

I completely disagree. This Friday Feature was very useful. Numbers are meaningless if you cannot put them in context. Now we finally have official word as to which component attributes are better with high numbers and which component attributesare better with low numbers. No more second guessing, no more wondering if the component is bugged.

There was a bug at launch when using the Rebel In Space Reload ability... the reload ship would leave you with 8.0 Effectiveness missiles.

And about Ions vs. Disruptors... do these weapons have invisible modifiers vs. shields and armor, respectively? Will a ion with .5 effectiveness against both shields and armor do more damage to shields than armor, despite having identical effectiveness?

stunningly incomplete as usual..

what about specifics on chassis speed/manuverablity mods??

what do you mean "1.0 actually does EXTRA dmg"?? 1000 x 1 = 1000!!! 1000 x .47 = 470!

Cool, my first TH reply ever!!


Also, TH should of stated the Effectiveness Vs Shields is considerably higher in player crafted ion weaponsover player crafted disruptor weapons (and vice versa for Effectiveness Vs Armor, with blasters being middle of the road in both).


Looted componets of these types can actually have equivalentmodifiers to effectiveness vs shields and armor. I have at least 5 level 7 ions and disruptors that have a rating of 1500 - 2300 damage and 0.6xx effectiveness to both shields and armor.

Ha! I have reread the armor decay and TH writes that only the hp should decay it is definitly a BUG!!!!!!

This isn't a bad friday feature. It would have been better (as someone said) if it was released right when JTL was released but not too bad.


That being said, expect JTL for a couple of weeks. I truly think TH does not WANT to do JTL but they it's his instructions coming down from invisible bosses .

Nice but with all the exciting things happening with loot, combat rebalance, macros going away, smuggler revamps, squad leader revamps, and more I think you could have thought of something better. This can be found at any good game strategy site already.
