Here's a tip. Get buffed and kill stuff on various planets. Once you find something you can take down with relative ease and yields a good return stick with it. Or you could use search.

here goes. Personally I enjoy pikets. 9 to a lair and 3.5K xp per kill. Not too hard and unlike Dath nothing else around them that you can't handle either. Pikets dizzy and stun out the wazoo though but they don't do posture change attacks.

Yeah they do those too. I've been forced to kneeling more times then I can count by a piket. You mustve just got lucky if it's never happened to you.
They are still sweet to kill though.

In addition to posture changes they (pikets)do blinding attacks (although I might be thinking of piket longhorns). I don't know about you, but I have a hard enough time actually connecting w/o being blinded. 
I would say however that they are wonderful for "xp grinding."
Just to add another option for those who don't like pikets or are not at a high enough level to take on two or three of them at a time, I have moved up several levels fighting huf dun herds on Talus. Although they only yield about 1000xp, they do not BAF (Bring A Friend), as long as you take out the bull first. Be careful while hunting them though... they have cousins called "Vicious Huf Dun" who are a bit weaker (IMHO), but will bring all the help they can find.

Too much abuse potential. Could you imagine the grind? Get a garden/fountain/streetlight, place, pull, repeat...
No, I can manage just fine with my 1 house/1 vote system... only drawback is that you may have to wait 2 cycles for the #4 box. No biggie.
Any profession gets xp capped.. just don't know what it is for Politician. .
Why 500 for dropping the city hall? Or a "personal" xp bonus for city expansion? If you're running unopposed, you get all the xp for your city population anyway..
Just 'cuz you can't grind Master Poli in a day doesn't mean the xp isn't "fair" ... it's just another "patience" profession.. besides, what other profession gives you xp for doing virtually nothing (ie, no crafting, no combat, just sit on your laurels and wait for the xp to roll in weekly) ?
