Add me to the list Baj. OUr first election. City advances and grows. I get no xp. Cant do a thing.
I opened up a troubled ticket with a CSR on Saturday - asof yet to get a response. I noticed some others posted they were having problems here as well. Maybe someone can kick this problem up the food chain for me so I can get this fixed ASAP. Many thanks.
It has taken me up to two days to get the experience "naturally", so no one will probably fix this for you for at least the first 3 days of your issue.
In order to get this fixed by a CSR, you have to be online when the CSR contacts you. I've had this happen to me. Put the following information as a comment in your ticket:
1. How much experience you have right now
2. How much experience you think you should have gotten
3. The number of citizens in your city when the election happened
4. Date and time of the election (should be in your mail)
5. Exactly what skillboxes you have
I know most of this should be easy as you mentioned that this was your first election, but I guarantee that this is what a CSR will ask you for when they first look at your ticket. It will then be put on hold waiting for your response and a re-review. I recommend that you put this information in your ticket and put yourself online as much as possible.
The CSR's in my case were asking that I add a comment to the ticket each time I logged on. Eventually one of them gave me their email address and asked that I email them when I logged on. Eventually the latter was the only way I ever hooked up with one to fix the problem.

Resolved. Thanks for the info. last night CSRJoshuaM sent me a tell. Came in game. Fixed probelm and was as classy as can be. I am so sorry that many of you have had the problems with this that you have. However, given the chance, refer to my posting of how CSRJoshuaM handled the situation.
For the same reason that others get turned off to the game because of bad experiences with CSR's (including me) - I have a renewed vigor for SWG because of Customer Service like that.

Ill never understand why peolpe 5 star people making comments like Legwand.....
I stayed on Dant much of the time until I was master. Killing Pikets and Huurtons seemed to yield the best results. I suggest first reading the FAQ's here, and seaching the forums though, you will find a wealth of information.
Get some good kinetic resist ubese, get buffed, and kill anything that moves.
I ground on Baz Nitches, but I had to get half-way to Master Pikeman and become a MAster Doctor before my skills were high enough to take these bad things on 
4.5k xp per kill and 4k xp per lair is very nice though.

My comment was based on the fact that the poster asked a very dumb question in what gives the most xp. Well of course the dumb answer to that would be the hardest **edit** thing to kill would be the one that gives you the most xp. If the poster had wanted to know what dies fast and gives high xp, that would have been a whole different question now wouldn't it.
And as for why would someone give me 5 stars for my comment, perhaps it's because unlike you, they have a sense of humor and actually enjoy themselves. Maybe if you took the stick out of your ass and stopped being so uptight you yourself may also find humor in a joke.
And furthermore I'll never understand why some people can't learn how to use spell checker.

2nd yes u gota go to Dath. to find good xp ( it may be too dificuilt) without beeng killed
3rd i am the only ( probably) non english speaking player so my posts are THE WARSTeven when i do spell check
4th the other day i was on corelia and was killing Tabattag ( not sure about name) it was icon withe to me and with my pet i took the hole lair 300-400 xp per kill 30 sec per mob and ther was like 50 in the lair, they was ease so it is about 20000 xp fast and ease
