Also, how often do new paintings come out ?


About once a month around the 23-25th.


And, how do you make them - ingrediants, etc ?


They are 2 use schematics but you can make a factory schematic. The ingredients vary from painting to painting but are around 120-250 units. THey use chemical, metal and hide. Could be mineral instead of hide, not sure.

Correction. I checked and it is actually chemical, hide and wood.

Mon Cal eye needed aluminium instead of wood actualy But yeah, usaly wood for the frame slot.

the krayt dragon skeleton painting just started showing up on Lowca 2 or 3 days ago. i found one on the bazaar and bought it right away. it looks great in my house.

Okay, so what painting are out there so far ? I have the Blumbush one, the Residential one, the Krayt Dragon one - which does look friggin' awesome !, and I just picked up the Blue Leaf Temple one. I know there's that Twi'Lek one but I don't have it yet. Any others out there I'm missing ? Hopefully, by the time the next one comes out I'll have the skill to make them. Any ideas what the average price for a painting is ? And where can you get the schematic or can you make it ?

The previously available paintings are listed in the FAQ. The list for the current round is still being compiled but is 75% done. Thats in a thread on this page somewhere.

on Lowca, this is which paintings are available (along with being a medic, TKA, and scout, i'm also an art collector):


Krayt Dragon Skeleton (bought off bazaar)*


Blumbush (bought off bazaar)*


Blue Leaf Temple (bought off bazaar)*


Residential House (bought off bazaar)*


Endor Painting (i am running the missions to get that one right now)


Twiilek Painting (i've seen it in other houses, but have no idea how to get it)


Advertisement (an advertisement that you get a Jabba loot for doing the Jabba Themepark. i got this for completing the first set of Jabba missions.)


Star Crossing paths with a planet (this was a reward for voting Sean into office at Bestine, but i ddin't vote for him, so i didn't get it)


*most paintings i've gotten off the bazaars were selling for 5k-6k credits.



As far as i know, these are all the paintings available on Lowca ATM.


out of all of them, i would have to say that the Blueleaf Temple and the Krayt Dragon ones are my personal favorites (though i have yet to see what the Endor one looks like) Blueleaf is probably my favorite just because that is a great temple to go grind some combat xp. (solo'ed it as TKM).

Certain paintings are available only as quest rewards. The advertisment and the small and large Twi'lek portraits are all rewards from Elephant Mon in the Jabba themepark. Youget one of the three at random, but you can't do the quest more than once, so if you want all three, you need to have three accounts and get lucky, or you need to buy the other two. The blue planetrise painting is the reward from Sean, the grunda painting quest can be found in Moenia, I believe. There are a couple of others that I'm not sure about, and these paintings will likely cost youmore than the ones that architects can make.

    I just bought the bestine schematic and learned it.



    now it seems to be gone.



    The message read that I had learned the schematic and had 2 uses left.



    But I can't find it anywhere. Does it put it somewhere strange? Do I have to use a specific crafting tool to craft it?

    look in your datapad under draft schematics


    always reference limited schematics in your datapad, if you openthe schamatic and don't craft the item, a usewill still be wasted.

    Okay, sorry if this has already been asked, but what exactly are the steps to take in order to make those paintings ? I know you need different resources like wood, but is it plain wood or hard wood ? What kind of hides or does it matter ? Can you only get the schematic from the museum guy in Bestine ?

    The schematic will tell you the exact ingredients needed. It varies by painting.


    From what I've seen they don't require specific requirements and any hide or wood is fine. But you should look at the schematic in question to be sure. If it says "hide" then you're fine with any variety of hide and if it just says "wood" then any wood will do.


    THe schematics only come from the museum curator. But they can be traded after bought from him. So someone else might have an old one they'll sell for example.
