Well, I don't think my primary character's sympathies would offend you, but since he's been pretty much a pure crafter since Day One, he remains -- officially -- Neutral. ![]()
I'm somewhat concerned about how being a Privateer will affect a character's ground reputation, so until that's resolved I don't know if I'll be going up any of the three piloting trees....
I'd like to try an organize convoys if possible. it would be cool to have a bunch of us doing missions flying in a tight group for mutual protection.
This is something I'd like to see emerging naturally just due to how the game is constructed. (I will say that it would be a lot more likely if we have Player Contracts by which people could make trustable deals with each other, but I've probably walloped that deceased equine too long already.)

Umm... I did not mean that the way it sounds! All I was trying to say was that I wasn't claiming any great status for my upcoming"how to implement freight/cargo hauling" idea, since it had probably already been thought of before.

Hey, if this change also means getting crates of Muon Gold and the like off the Bazaar terminals, I'm for it!
As a player, I understand just wanting to be able to sell things. But from the perspective of a character in the game, it makes no sense to have these things publicly available for sale. What do you think would happen to you if you put an ad in the paper selling crates of heroin?
Personally, I'd like it ifputting a sliced object or spice for sale on a Bazaar terminal instantlyspawneda squad of stormtroopers to explain to you that the Emperor doesn't appreciate youmocking his laws... except that there'd be people who'd use this as afaction pointvending machine: insert spice to receive NPCs who can be killed for FPs. Sigh.
At any rate, I look forward to seeing how the developers integrate smuggling into the space part of SWG.
