I'm only 1211 CorSec, and I really don't want to have to complete a mission while trying to avoid PvPers. PvPingshould be a choice that does not affect your advancement in any profession.

component decay should be removed in pvp


put the missions out of pvp areas

I love it... barely a week has gone by since release and already another thread asking for the same thing I asked for while still in beta..... I have JTL, and use my vet reward to avoid waiting for shuttles and the fees, other than that, I am not playing JTL at all, nor will I till something is done on this, I will /sign but doubt it will do any good.


In beta about 5 of these posts a day... all ignored, day NDA dropped I started This thread, and TeiLinn started This thread...... you notice it still has not changed, oh well another 3 weeks or so when all the casual players get to 4444, then we will really start seeing some posts I think. The question is will it do any good?

lol Im not a griever or a PVP'r I just know that to play any game of any challenge you got to fail a lot of times and learn from your mistakes. The devs didn't plan for you to blow through a profession in a day or even a couple of weeks. Master was supposed to be months of work. Sit down and have fun for Gods sake. If you can't get master from Kessel on the first try then how good will you feel when you finally beat that challenge eh? 90% of the fun in MMO's is the journey to the level cap, not what comes after. Take it easy and play.

Absolutely. Let them PvP, they deserve each other as a group. Won't be joining them, and they'll never understand why.

You bring up a very important point in your statement, and it addresses the biggest issue any game of this nature faces: time to level.

The developers don't plan for people to blow through professions in a day. However, people do. Look at the ground game. Hologrinders, AFK macros, spawn campers, etc. People running around in 80-90% resist armor, buffed to insane levels soloing virtually everything available. I'm sure within a mere day or two after JtL launched the first Master Pilot title was awarded. What is there that can be done to stop this? Should the developers impose a time restriction to levels? For example, to obtain a "Master" certificate, you not only have to complete a series of missions, but must also spend a given number of hours in flight. To make it fair, it would have to limit the number of hours per day that counted towards the total. Can you imagine the backlash from implementing something like this from the overly vocal "You Suck" types?

On topic of this poll, I completely agree. As time progresses and more and more people get the "Master" title, the higher the percentage of griefers will be. You don't think there will be spawn campers? Take a ride over to the geo caves and look at the spawn points. Heck, go to Mos Eisley and look near the cantina. AFK spawn campers there as well. The point is the entry points into the PvP systems will be camped. You arrive to complete your mission, and before you can react you've already taken a couple hits and you're either sitting back at the station, or staring at the - EJECT - icon.
