The challenge is finding the right combination of parts to build the ship to where you don't see that message. (almost like a puzzle) The challenge is also to make decisions on what you need to load, whats important and what isn't. In short, building and having to make decisions about your ship up is part of the game.

You know what slays me in all of this is half the time i use a 50K mass ship, the T/I, and here you guys are complaining about a ship that has twice the mass. My T/I uses a level 2 through 4 components, a RE'd L6 engine, and a L8 cannon.

I have no armor at all, only 900 shields, No booster, no bells and whistles of any kind. But i did had room leftover for countermeasures. My T/I does fine. The point im trying to make here is twofold: One, you can't have your cake and eat it too. Two, im beginning to think you guys are spoiled.

I used to be a rebel pilot and honestly i wish i had access to that 100K mass ship folks here *think* is undermassed. Considering what i can do with a 50K mass T/I, a 100K mass ship is childsplay to build.

Ok so you like that thats nice. I still haven't heard any arguement about my idea. So you like the make everything ft aspect. Well with my idea you can turn up the difficulty lvl by decreaseing mass but getting speed in return. See why I say no one is reading replys is because everyone is replying to me about how the X-wing is fine when i'm not for an X-wing increase (well not dead set on one anyways). My idea lives up to both sides of the spectrum. The ppl who like finding parts and trying to make the best they can out of what little they can, and also the ppl who want ships that handle like pontune boats but can take a beating.

I think ppl are getting the name of the thread mixed up with my ideas. maybe I should just start a new thread so theres no confuseing.

The reason why I and probably other people don't pay any attention to your idea is because it's self serving. It's like you don't care what it takes, you just want to fit all your parts in to your X wing, no matter what. Thats what it all sounds like. So in my mind, its already out the window.

But theres more to it than that. It would trivialize the game. PvE wise, Mass is practically king. Equip what you want and and the only penalty is to fly sluggish? I can see it now, small Syck' fighters sporting Lvl 10 4200 damage cannons, 2700 capacity shields with the manuverablity of a B wing *rolls eyes*.

Frankly i didnt read all of your idea, nor do i care to, because this whole thread is full of

remove mass on parts!
Add more mass to the xwing.
blah blah blah blah

After awhlie a person just stops reading because its no longer worth the time, and just glossing over key words because it all sounds the bloody same, one big long self serving whine. The only reason i respond to this thread AT ALL is because im bored at work.

Judging by your last post its a little obvious that your inlove with your idea so arguing it with you would be a moot point anyway. There is probbly nothing ANYONE can say that would convince you otherwise. Regardless if you ever have any useful idea not born out of a self serving desire, i suggest you post it in its own thread in a clear and concise manner without any words like "i want" , "petition" or worse yet, "Pertion". This thread lost credibility before it was even clicked on to be read.

Welp since you agree you haven't read it then this shall be my last post. BTW I mght have changed my think of my idea if you could promote a valid arguement, but since you couldn't it remains the same.
