Unless u have a radio in ur star fighter there probably wont be music. Id rather have it fighitng music only and no music after cuz i wana hear my humming engine of the Tie Fighter and it just seems makes sense.

You shouldn't need to play MP3s, CDs, ect. while playing the game, though. Music should be playing in the game. Action music while you fight, eriee soft music while you're exploring, a milder music once you go into cities, ect.
Definitely agree with you on this. My favorite ground music is on Lok. The first time I heard that I almost fell out of my chair, it was simply awesome. Space should have that type of opera-esque music to it, it just puts you in the mood.

But i doubt that'd help people with seziors, if anything, it'd give more probably lol.
To hear a piece of Bambee music, go to my sigs website. And that is what I would qualify as a 'light' piece.

From what I understand, there really isn't that much music in the Starwars universe. There were the funk kinda bands (jabba's palace), jazz (cantina) and then in an EU book it mentions the Imperial Symphony Orchestra. The empire has banned most of the musicians so they can't put ideas into peoples heads.
Anyway... I agree that there should be more music because my point is that all the SW music is appropriate for all ages and you can get into the game much easier with good music.
Go watch starwars again and turn the volume off. Pretty lame no? That's how SWG is.Starwars without music isn't starwars, it's just a bunch of people in space trying to kill each other with sticks of light.

i think it would be really cool if youd hear the imperial march when engaging a star destroyer or something like that

I hope its like in freelancer where the music is calm and "regular" when you arent fighting, but when you get into combat the music changes. Not stop and start like in SWG right now.
Basicly music that changes depending on the situation. There are a few games out now that use this.
EDIT: If all else fails, go grab your XvT CD andcopythe really long SW track (about 10-20mins i think) withwindows media player.

you can always run winamp or windows media player in the background. turn down the in-game background music and turn up the in-game sound effects. problem solved.
