Not sure when this nice polite question turned in to "flame the jedi" but anyway. Yes FS vehicular control does from what I have been able to see greatly improve my abilities in space. BTW just like it has for all the Jedi's in the movies.

No it dosen't, and there were no Jedi in the movies bar an old man, a farmboy, a little green thing, the Dark Lord of the Sith and ol' Palpatine.

You have a vivid imagination. I have a Jedi Imp Pilot with FS Vehicle control (I got it at pub9 skill conversion, pre-JTL, when I thought it might help in space). I have a non-Jedi with 1 tree of FS skills (FS melee defence - I had more but dropped em as I need the sp's ). My non-Jedi has mastered all Privateer and Imp Squads and not noticed any difference.

Best of all.. I have a bag of components for my grievous. The 2 toons share everything including the deed. When they fly an identical ship, with identical components, they get identical performance.

Now on a swoop... it's a different matter entirely

Have anyone of you had experiece in this? I would like to hear from someone who has aced pilot, and has unlocked force vehicle control and can speak from experience. I know any mention of Jedi/force skills sends people frantic, but all I am concerned with is greater maneuverability in space with force vehicle control. Can someone who is not soo obliviosly biased towards force skills comment?

Nope Vehicle control doesn't affact the turning rates of ships.

Someone has told me that once you unlock force vehicle control, that it will not only affect the way you control your ground vehicles, but also your maneuverability in space. Can anyone else verify this for me?

Yep, I now know that Force Vehicle control DOES NOT have any effect in space through my own experience.

Han Solo was a great space pilot. He certainly didn't have the Force. He and Luke were basically on the same level of piloting abilities. There are many pilots in space who can outfly jedi. Look at Jango Fett. He and Obi-wan were equally skilled.
