I am by no means an expert but I would ignore the client side effects such as noise or the glowing of shields registering an effect as these tend to be unreliable in client-server games. The final arbitor of whether you hit or not is the server and the quality of your internet link can cause strange effects.


It is also an issue of the placement of your guns, the hit box I think it is called and this differs from ship to ship. As an experiment I would advise strafing between the crosshairs and the ship and seeing if you can get the shield down from 100%.

Cool, I'll try that... thanks for all the replies. Itmay be my internet connection that's causing some of the problem. I'm on a wireless 140 kbps link... until my dsl gets here next week

can jedi ware any type of armor such as pre nurf mabari belts...do they count as armor and remove jedi armor...if yes, is there anything else that is armor w/ socets that jedi can ware, like gloves or boots.

I only ask this because i have some melee speed AA's and want to know if i can use them as a jedi?

banoliers, various belts, tailor made stuff, basucy a whole suit of stuff if u dont feel like wearing ur robe, but with a robe only things would be, hate, bloves, belt.

Pre Nerf mabri belts. Padded belts also take them but padded is risky because it can bug sometimes and count as armour after a server reset or logout.


Mabri Belts are you best bet

Can avian bone and horns be used in a schem that requires "Bone".


And if the outcome is dictated by oq, pe, and fl, what happens since Bone doesn't have pe/fl?
