First off, you don't even have to worry about those three boxes. They are optional components that you don't need to finish the armor.

As for the two appearance enhancers, they can add a health bonus to the armor. The feathered one is made from peko peko albatross feathers. You get the schematic from doing the R.I.S. armor quest. I think the other appearance enhancer is the interwoven one that is dropped by the acklay in the Geo Caves.

I don't think we know what the bio cartridge is yet. Do we? Huh? Huh?

Sorry this might have been asked before hand, but

When you become force sensitive or "glowy" is that when you can make an alt on the same server or did only the original people who got jedi were allowed this?

did you mean from lvl one to lvl 80 then do the glowy?

as a level 65 coming back from 6 moths off from bfore the cu....i ground out glowy in 18 hours.

that included 4 top boxes of carbineer and the master box. and i did jabbas, nyms, reb thempark (wad the longest part of doing all these) i did jabbas vette mission, and i did the letter (compassion) mission in the warren. i also did 10 pois.

if your combat lvl is high enough, it can be done in a very short amount of time, the longest part is waiting for the old man and waiting for the sith.

my toon before i left, his name was euli...i ground out for months and got 3 boxes away from jedi and in a fit of rage delted him..lol..do not ever do that. i wish i had him now. but witht he rate of xp its possible to dump 2 times a day casually grinding. so getting paddy will be limited only by the 3 week cycle

If I select and disable a reactor, does that effectively shut down the other ship? I.E. can it still fire weapons with no power?

It depends on the ship. That works for starfighters, but gunboats don't seem to notice. I can't say I've ever tried it on a POB ship.

I am returning to the game since shortly after the release of JTLS. I did get a few boxes in alliance pilot tree before I left. Last night I started a Corsec Pilot career and on my first mission I was firing at targets scoring direct hits for 5 mins straight without breaching thier shields. I managed to beat 2 of the 3 targets twice. While fighting the last fighter the mission ended once because another NPC killed him and another time because the mission took too long??? Just looking for some insight as to what I might be doing wrong, was something changed (I don't recall having to shoot at enemies 5 mins straight) or do I need to get a better ship beside the free one they give you?

thanks

I would query your assumption you are scoring direct hits. Remember that the shield flashes on screen are client based and what

matters is server side hits. It is better to rely on the crosshairs in my experience rather than shield flashes.

Would I be able to fly a dune lizard at a novice levelif I bought one?

Are you refering to the crosshair that leads the enemy ship? I was aiming for that initially but didn't notice any hits being scored so I started aiming more directly at the ship when I noticed more hits on thier shield. Do I need to focus on the lead crosshair and disregard the fact that I'm hitting the shields then?

no... dunelizard is available at 1xxx... if you can't penetrate the shields of a tier 1 with the starter ship then you are either really missing (I usually tell by the sound, the sound is defferent if you make an actuall hit)or you have the drunk bumblebee thing. It acts kinda like immunity for the NPCs they also move around alot ie. making turns that are phisically impossible or warping. (it might seem like lag but it isn't, it is a sycronizeation issue)

No, it wasn't a bumblebee issue. AFAIK I was hitting dead on.... the ship was flying dead in front of me at times while I unloaded a good stream of shots into it. It's really frustrating to have to spend20 mins on THE FIRST MISSION It's also frustrating that the mission spawns right next to the space station so that the NPC get involved and start shooting your targets.

Hmm, well all I can do is try again tonight.
