Thread: need help
I assume you're talking about the Wild Bladeback Boar.
This is part of one of the Hermit quests.
HERE's a link to a guide ![]()

First question, are you actually getting Tailor XP each time you craft? (just gotta be sure of that first). if you are not gaining xp, make sure that whatever you are crafting is something that you get certified to craft in a Tailor skill box, and not an Artisan box. and if you still aren't being granted XP, log out and back in (i've had that happen to me sometimes). or train, folks forget there is a cap and once you hit it XP stops, go train once in awhile
Personally, i grinded ribbed shirts until i could craft Cloaks, and i grinded cloaks the whole way to Master. But cloaks use a large amount of Hide, so unless you've got access to large amounts of hide, i wouldn't advise using this method.
Also, be sure to get an inspiration buff, that extra 10% xp gained is a HUGE added bonus, so don't do any crafting without that buff.

Yes that the stupid clicky is gettin annoying... thx to the person above you and yes. its a tailor cert
* The item doesn't qualify (and you're doing Ribbed Shirts so it's not that);
* You're ready for another promotion and have capped out on points (but you wouldn't be complaining about the slow grind if you'd been able to get promoted .... so it's not that);
* Your character is bugged and just isn't picking up any points ..... in which case try doing a fullscan when you next launch the game.
Grinding tailor shouldn't be a slow process. You should try a few items from your highest level and see how many points you're getting for each. If the answer is 0 and you haven't reached your cap (and doing a fullscan doesn't sort it) then I'm afraid you need CS.

Go see your friendly neighborhood smuggler to slice your weapons. They can educate you on slicing but the basics are:
Weapons now have a customization rating associated with slicing. The higher the rating, the more likely your weapon will break in combat. Don't worry, if it does a smuggler can fix it. Personally, I've never had one break since the upgrade...
You have 3 slicing choices with different associated customization costs:
1. Max damage
2. Weapon Speed
3. Critical Hit
All have different "costs" on them, but you can mix/match and combine different slices for different results. This is a better question on the smuggler boards since they can tell you exactly which slices cost what, and explain your options. It's fairly cheap to slice weapons and shouldn't be more than 50-100k at least on the Eclipse server, in my experience.
This slice increases the attack speed of a weapon.
Order | Total Bonus | Customisation Rating
1 | 2% | +20%
2 | 4% | +25%
3 | 7% | +25%
4 | 12% | +30%
Note: The 'Total Bonus' column is just that, the total bonus the weapon has; each bonus does not add on to the next one above it.
Enhance Damage
This slice increases the weapons damage range.
Order | Total Bonus | Customisation Rating
1 | 2% | +20%
2 | 4% | +20%
3 | 8% | +20%
Note: The 'Total Bonus' column is just that, the total bonus the weapon has; each bonus does not add on to the next one above it.
Increase Critical Strike Chance
This slice will give the weapon a small base chance to hit vital areas for double damage; this bonus is applied in addition to any critical hit chance supplied to an attack.
Order | Chance | Customisation Rating
1 | 3% | +20%
2 | 5% | +40%
3 | 10% | +40%
Note: The 'Total Bonus' column is just that, the total bonus the weapon has; each bonus does not add on to the next one above it.
