Unfortunately, it sometimes happens. Most of the time, I encounter this situation when the mark spawns in water, or spawns at a starport.

Also, marks do move. If the mark is not at the waypoint, and you got a reading from a seeker recently (1 minute). Look around that area. The mark is usually within 100 meters of that area. If it's been a while since you have got a seeker reading, then the mark has usually moved. In most cases, the mark moves in a single direction. Once you figure out the direction, tracking the mark shouldn't be that hard. Keep using the seekers and getting updated coordinates. The mark will be moving, so it'll take some finding.

Master Ranger and probably MBH. You can master both and still have some SP left to add either pistol/carbine/rifle boxes if you want, or maybe even some medic.

I find that while the specials suck generally, I can KD and then drop a creature fairly quickly using a droid and some traps as backup. Add veghash and you should do ok,

BUT - You harvest more in a group. Something ot think about.
