i had one account on 6 month describtion and put it on gamecard as i did not know if i wanted to play anylonger as the 6 months.
i played until the late evening on the last day of the 6 month subscribtion and as i wanted to log in the next day i had not could as subscribtion had run out which i then put directly on 1 month subscribtion.
so i was less then 24 hours without subscribtion and you want to tell me i dont get my reward because i am now less then 6 months playing ( activated that acount in september or october) that is not ok.
you should check for accounts that are longer as 1 month out of subscribtion.
also what happen to my other 3 accounts which i changed from 6 month subscribtion to 1 month are they resetet also?

I totally agree. Because of a mix-up with another MMORPG, I decided that game cards is the way to go.. Everytime I enter the game card it still says "cancelled" on account status. even though I just entered it. I've been with this game since Beta, and I feel that this is just another example of things not being thought thru before implemented.. Dont fault me for not using my credit card....

Also i think there should not any rewards for the time where the game was released all in the world. As it was more as a stupid idea to restric the game to US and Canada as it came out. Even 9 months preorder of the game had not got delivered as SOE did not deliver to europe or only very very few samples. I got this preordered games with nearly 2 months delay and i had to get me 2 copies out of the US with express delivery. I think many in europe and around the world know this feeling.
Many would have been started with the game at the 26 th june but SOE had not let them. So i think veteran rewards should have this in mind too.
also i think the rewards should be for paid months and not paid months in a row especialy with gametime cards.

It IS a ploy.
WHAT "Veteran Reward' does a Player with 12 months active subscription get TODAY?
Answer: NOT A DAMN THING!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is a MARKETING PLOY to keep tens of THOUSANDS of people from Cancelling when Pub 9 and 10 screws things up and they cancel until JTL comes out.
So this is NOT a Veteran Reward, it is a BRIBE to stay subscribed for another 3-6 months.

I have listened as they refuse to fix bug after bug and then started the NERFS!
I bought the "Special Edition" upon release cause we were promised all sorts of cool in game items as time went by. Whatever happened to that Promise? We got the goggles and THAT WAS IT!!!! Nothing ever new added. NOW I'm told that as a "Veteran Reward" of the 1 year anniversary, I have to remain subscribed for another 3-6 MONTHS to get the reward?
WHERE IS THE REWARD TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As for the Fanbois....**edit**, I have been a Star Wars fan for over 20 years, playing on Muds, Mushes and RPGs YEARS before this game was a gleam in Sony's eye. I have every damn right to complain.

It looks good, but I agree on several points:
1.> It's not "veteran" enough, most of the players will be "vets" by the time JTL comes along, rendering it commonplace, unlike the special edition goggles.
2.> The part about 6 months continous, is a bit of a shame, but considering we've still got 3-4months for JTL so actually ship (pardon the pun!) I am sure they will have it sorted by then.
To those who are complaining about no response from the devs, come on, give them a break, it's less than 48hrs since they posted it, how quick (and over a weekend) do you think the answer - that Kevin O'Hara has already said he'd take to the subs team - is gonna come?? give it a few days, weeks and all will be sorted.
Although lots of bugs, SWG is STILL the most advanced and indepth MOG out there, I've been in since 7th July last year and playing constanting since then (had one minor break when my c/card exipred). I'm sure they're not gonna ignore the almost majority now who have had expired cards, payment issues, game cards.. etc...
I've got more faith in SOE now than ever because of all the work input in this game so far.
For every great post, there are a dozen whiners, but it's human nature to complain and to never congratulate.
This is business at the end of the day, whining gets you nowhere, except a bad rep and plain ignored.
I salute the devs, but...
... maybe when things are posted or revealed... don't "BIG IT UP" so much every time, that only leads to tears when promises cannot be delivered.
Roll on JTL and the mythical Combat Pass, both of which will likely change this game as we know it, and for the better.
For those who played EQ, you know how long it took to get where it is today... 5-6years, we're only just in year one of SWG. Can you even start to imagine how this game will be 3 years from now???
We'll look back and wonder what a bunch of pettey whiners we once were, and wonder at why the devs bother reporting ANYTHING to us in the first place, if all we do is complain about it. I can name a dozen other game forums, where you'll never hear ANYTHING from the devs, ever...

First, let me say that yes this is indeed a cool reward. But, I don't think you guys should call this a "Veteran Reward" for these reasons:
1) This reward requires the purchase of JTL in order to use. While I agree that most vets will buy the expansion, there may be a few people, for whatever reason, don't wish to purchase the expansion.
2) Most people suspect that JTL isn't going to launch for another 6 months anyway. By that time, nearly everyone who is playing from now until then and purchases the expansion will get the reward. This leaves me to believe this is mearly an incentive for players to stay subscribed from now until then. If that's what it is, fine. But don't try and pawn in off as something else.
3) People who have been subscribed for a whole consective year should be rewarded seperatly as they have had to play through all the bugs, lack of content, profession-balancing (ie nerfs), and generally sub-standard customer service that came with the early game.
I think you should call it what it is. It's a "Stick Around Reward" as it rewards people who stick around from now until then. I've cancelled my subscription twice since launch, so I know I wouldn't be considered a true veteran, but I believe that those who toughed it out should be recognized and rewarded properly. They also should not have to wait another 6 months to be recognized for something they have already accomplished. People who are one-year veterans as of today might miss out on a reward if, for some reason, their account gets cancelled anytime between now and the JTL launch.

Im a community Vet, but think ive been playing 5 months,..which is strange? do i not get the ship?
oh wait my mistake..it'll be about 8 months when JTL comes out...however i cancelled my account once for 2 days, which means i havent done 6 months consecutively i guess, which is kinda stupid how i wont get the ship.
