Actually I solo'd it through all parts except the very end with the T5 coming out of no where - but I think that T5 is just a random mob in that area. If I had hypered back to endor after the freighter left, I would have had it.

I think there was about a million posts about mission difficulty n th ebeta boards, and it wont here either i guess. Tier3+ are designed to be tackled by a grp, NOT solo'd. The devs wont change it and its working as intended, not much to do than move on i guess.

That said me and 2 guildies (i was 2.2.2.2 ina TIE/In, first guildie was also 2.2.2.2 in a TIE/In, secodn guildie was 2.2.1.1 and using a regular TIE). We finished it without much if any hassle.

And tier3 is -all- free boxes they dont cost any xp at all. And youll get them after he deems you ready for training.

I was stuck on this mission for two weeks during beta. I complained daily about mission based training, and the dificulty of this mission. I had really hoped the devs fixed this before JTL went live. Without a large group of really good pilots with good ships this is an exercise in futility. You can make jedi before you can solo this.

Haha i solo'd it... had to be very sneaky, and i hyperdrive'd to other sectors of endor whenever i got into trouble... since the waves of awings and xwings never really hurt the transport it was safe for me to pull back and heal up a bit before i went back in... the hardest was getting to that one transport because it had a static spawn of 5 tier 4 pirates hanging around it, i just punched in the hyperspace jump when i started getting close... go right in and dock, by the time i undocked i was hyperdriving it out of there

Yes after spending all day yesterday trying it I finally got it with the help of two other victims Er I meant wingmen and yes those four tier 4 pirates are a killer if it was just the pirates I wouldn't of had a problem (I soloed them first time round but they respawned and the rebels joined in) but as I was the person that had to stay alive my wingmates sacrificed themselves to keep me alive and so I could jump to a safe place in endor then fly to the space station and get repaired.

But yes the static spawns are the killer on this other wise it would of been challenging instead of near impossible.

And I second the whole ship stops to hyperdrive rubbish

I HATE CAPTAIN DENNER!!

i was doing fine right up until i get this mission, i have done it grouped and solo but its just a damn hard mission with the tier 4/5 spawns.

The devs said JTL would intergrate seamlessly with the ground game, obviously it hasnt, the ground game doesnt require grouping but JTL does. not quit a seamless intergration if you ask me.

idiotdevs havecreated yet another unbalanced game, this wont be fixed because their doing the combat upgrade that they've been putting off for so long, expect JTL to be fixed sometime next year!

I was 2-2-2-2 yesterday and had enough xp stored away to train my first tier3 box. Then I got so frustrated by this missions that I quit the Imp Navy and work on Rebel faction now, praying that their missions are not that insane. Also the fact that my dream ship, the Tie/Interceptor, only has 1 gun mount instead of 2 (one cannon on every wingtip) caused me to desert.

Rebs have similar probs. You can't train until you complete the missions. I had 500k xp accumulated before I completed a mission and qualified to train in a 200k box.

What do you think the Combat Upgrade is all about?
JTL is already balanced, as are certain items in the ground game, such as the DE-10 Pistol.

The Combat Upgrade will make SWG more like JTL in the means that you have to group and can't solo stuff, kind of like it was in the beginning of SWG.

I've spent over20 hours of game time on Captain Denner's first mission. Failed about 8 tries, then finally made it with a buddy of mine who was 3222. Then I put about 30 hours of game time and finally finished the Captains second mission after 7 tries.

The problem we have isn't that the game and it's missionsare too hard, but rather that not enough people are playing it yet, hence making it nearly impossible to form a group suitable for the mission.

Oh yes!!! This is my problem as well. After at least a dozen attempts, still no luck...got as far as pt5 solo...then 2 wings of mixed rebel fighters jumped me before I could get to the delivery WP. What the hell is wrong with this mission??!!

Over 1 hour for a single mission.....way too long. This should be split into 4 or 5 smaller missions at least!! As for the tier 4s...nearly had me, but I managed to pull through. Thank god for astromech abilities!! This issue really needs fixin fast!! It does my head in every time.

I'm lookin to gather a group of at least 6 decent pilots to nail this 1...or for the devs to turn the difficulty down from IMPOSSIBLE to ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE!!!! Even better would be if they JUST LET US TRAIN!!!

Bet even yoda aint got the philosophy for this dumb mission!! Really wanna kick the **** out of Denner for this torture!!

I have submitted a ticket to the devs about this, and hope they take notice of it. This is the most unfair thing to hit the game...ever!! I'll be Jedi Master before I do this mission otherwise...and I've only got 2 FS boxes so far. Killin krayt aint this bad!!

I definatly agree that the tier 3 missions are too long and difficult. I have helped several friends through these1 1/2 hr - 2 hr long missions, WAY TOO LONG. The missions should be split up, 2 smaller missions per tier 3 box, and should be staged that on the first tier 3 miision you dont encounter tier 4 enemys. The difficulty should still be hard but graduated.

For anyone in Eclipse server look me up if you need help.
