I sell my flight computers for 300 credits per level. No need to charge more they don't take a lot of resources and don't need specalized resources.

v1 = 300 credits

v2 = 600 credits

v3 = 900 credits

v4 = 1200 credits

v5 = 1500 credits

v6 = 1800 credits

I sell mine

level 1 1500

level 2 2500

level 3 3500

Level 4 4500

Level 5 5500

Level 6 6500

They are extremly easy to make and require very little resources. In addtion with galactic vendor search and new DE's undercutting the market its hard to charge more then that, at least on my server.

If there was a difference between what i made and what joe noob made, or if i had a shop near cnet(location), i could probably charge more but theres not so i cant.

I sell mine at 2k per lvl

AndI begrudge the things too. Why should a reb have to pay for a chassis etc for an astro and imps and neutrals get the same for Droid Battery prices??

Keep the prices high on these I say, doesn't matter that little resources are used in them. It should be about the benefit to the cutomer, and that's comparable whether it be a reb astro or an imp/neut flight comp.

Just because SOE unbalaced these things doesn't meant we should. They do the same job after all.

I sell mine for 5k for a level 1, then add 2500 each level, so a level 6 is 17500.

If you are charging just based upon what it takes to make them you are only hurting yourself. Even at my prices that is obscenely cheap. People are prcing them like they are one use items. Heck one use items like stims go for more then that.

Ask yourself some questions.

"What does this do for them?" - It helps them kill faster and live longer, vastly increasing their performance.

"How long will it last?" - A reasonable amount of time until it needs replacing. It's not a one use item, they can get weeks worth of use out of it.

"How much money will the person be making using this item?" - A ton. When I mastered pilot, i didn't cash my credit chip in until I was done. At that point it was worth 3.2 million credits. This was also before you could sell looted parts to a chasis dealer. Now you can make 100k-200k selling parts alone. 5k, 10k, 20k, heck 50k isn't much at all to a pilot, especially for something like a FC. Space is the way to make money now after the CU.

I understand the mindset of feeling badly about charging more for something that is easy to make, I really do. Yet it is a vicous circle. All you end up with is less money in your pocket and the customer has more in his. Later on you may find yourself bidding against that same person on an item you both want. Good luck when he has 10 times as much money as you.

Be fair, be honest, but don't be a fool.

Like a couple of others above I begrudge the fact that imp pilots can get these things so cheap so I don't sell them at all to pilots - I sell to shipwrights and they can charge what they see the market rate as and it benifits me because I sell in bulk to them so no clogging up my vendors with flight computers that sell slowly! Maybe we could adopt this idea?

To make astromech droids you'll need to put droid data modules in...and for a simple astromech an R5 is the easiest to make but given the changes from the last patch I been selling more multi purpose droids - having the astromech in there does mean that people come back for an upgrade wich is good.

aye I guess one side effect of only having to put in 1 combat module does make for nice multi purpose dorids...and who knowws in teh futuer if they change that maybe those droids'll get nerfed and they have to buy more =0 lol
