Uhm... I don't think anyone said the game was crappy. We were just trying to figure out if the loot drop rate was lowered.

During Beta the devs said that at first they whacked up the loot drop rate, then went to the other extreme to next-to-nothing and slowly ratcheted up the drop rate till they were happy with it. Who knows the workings of the mind of a Dev 
I always put it down to the random loot generator running in the back ground
