I doubt you can even make a 500k one. I'm pretty sure even with only critical failures while experimenting you get something like 4.9M ...

I think the 500k were short after JtL was released, or perhaps even in beta, when all fighters had around 10k mass and all components weighted 1k at most. Then they changed all masses on ships and components and also upgraded the POBs to 5 million...
