I flew inship cockpit on or off, for the longest time. Recently I began flying 3rd person, because I like looking at my own ships better than the same NPCs over and over.

Made it before all hell broke loose.

I've been noticing on some ships, the view from the cockpit seems to be to low down. The ones it seems to be worse on is the X-wing and multiplayer ships (bad on MP ships because you cannot turn off the cockpit detail). The dashboards take up half the screen, it wouldnt be so bad if they actually did something other than look nice, but its kind of annoying.
