Thread: 3 extra parking slots for Digital DL ONLY?!!!
I'm sorry, but EVERYONE should get the 3 extra slots. The people who buy the retail box are going to have the same game as those who DDL it. I can appreciate rewards and incentives for buying early, I'm all for it. However, this should not be a freaking reward. It should be standard across the board.
I preordered back when I thought you it was an either/or situation for the varactyl and BARC. But I canceled once I found out I'd get a mount that is completely worthless to me. Now, because I chose a reward that would be useful, I find alot of us not choosing to jump on SOE's bandwagon are getting punished.
The sad thing? I actually WANTED to get the expansion early. Their idiotic lack of foresight is what caused me to wait. What they should have done was offered either the varactyl OR the BARC, for preordering.

the speeder/mopunt thing didnt bother me a whole lot but this really does.
I could really use ship slots
I figure all of us pay/play cuz we like the game and the experience so aren't the bells and whistles exactly that? Just nice to have stuff?

What about all of the loyal pilots who can't (slow connections) or simply don't want to do
the DDL? I personally like to have the box and the book and the other literature that comes
with getting a game from a store. This is stupid. 100% stupid. EVERYBODY should get the
extra slots. People have been begging for them since day 1 of JTL. The JTL community is a
small one, and chances are the people who will be using the DDL will probably not even
want/need the extra ship slots as most people only use JTL as a means of free
transportation.
I will not be geting the DDL. If I do need or want more ships I'll just keep the deeds and
parts in a backpack until I need them.
Yet another in a string of poorly thought out ideas for "rewards". At least you people are
consistant.
