i just wanna get in JTL so bad ^_^ as you guys said, never fear its comming out soon! and for those of us who ordred the beta CD's, they should be comming out next week, after the 8th then we get in Beta

oh and anyone have a link to the flashbike? and this thing is gonna be RARE huh ? i mean most of us didnt pre-order, id like to learn more about it if anyone can be helpful

Better yes but what do you think the devs will do-> release jtl early to keep customers or make the game better and loose some customers.

i dunno i have some mixed feelings.. i want JTL but longer dev time is almost always a good thing. How about it Devs is this true? Can we get an official comment on this siutation? If not on the delay at least with whats goin on with the bonus cd's.

I don't think a delay would hurt in the long term. Look at Halo 2 and all the failed rellaese dates there and it's shaping up to be a blockbuster and Star Wars is a hell of lot bigger name than Halo.

It would be nice to see a daily updated site ( or forum page ) with all the info on jtl release and bonus states.

Have a look at Official Trailer 4 then after about 1 min 25 seconds it says JTL is comming 27th October. To my knowledge that is the first time a specific date has been given. So I doubt it will be delayed as it is an official Lucasarts / SOE trailer.

Best Buy is the store that puts their games out one to two days after they've been released everywhere else (and that's not just specific stores. That's how long it takes their main warehouse to redistribute everything to their stores. They truck their own stuff.). Sony hasn't shipped it yet.

Have you checked the wallpaper section of the galaxies site? I dont konw if they took it down but they had wallpaper saying Live the Adventure Fall 2002 or something like that. That was offical and they sure as hell pushed the release date back lol.

As for a release date push back, I'd be suprised. SOE's gotten a ton of bad press latley reguarding SWG and thier "Customer Service". I'd be less suprised to see the discs on the shelves in stores and a nice big patch waiting the minute you install the game.
As for the stores and the Bonus Disc...
Well, I wouldn't touch Gamestop.com with a 10 foot pole. I ordered a used game from them a little while back and got an empty case. "Well, you'll need to send us back the disc and case to get a refund, minus shipping." is the only responce I got. I'm still looking into legal matters on that one. If anyone thinks SOE treats us like crap, check out Gamestop, you'll be in love with SOE after 10 minutes with those asshats.
EBgames is still showing my status as "open" and when I called the other day, they told me they are expecting to receive the shipments from the supplier (SOE) early this week and should have them all shipped by this comming weekend. I asked them if the delay was due to the revamping of the bonus vehicle and they said that they didn't know.
Well, that's all I can add to this discussion. Personally, I can't wait to get that vehicle and give it a spin around the race track!
