The real concern is, how many miles per gallon your getting? Especially in starports
ROFL,
I suppose that would depend upon if your flying a Twin Ion Engined ship equipted with solar pannelsor a Luxury Yacht, or maybe something in between.

A parsec is a distance:
1 Parsec = 3.08568025 × 10^16 meters (Google rocks!). As was posted earlier, the boast was not that he made the run fast, just made the run in the shortest distance on record (which, given 2 equal speeds, a shorter distance traveled equals out to making the trip faster).

That number isthe terrestrial parsec. Aparsec is defined to be the distance at which the average separation between Earth and Sun would subtend an angle of one arcsecond (1/3600 of a degree) on the sky. The corresponding unit in the Galactic Empire would be based on the orbit of Coruscant rather than Earth. Since we don'tknow anything about the mass of Coruscant's sun, there's no way to tell exactly what a parsecequals to in that galaxy.

More dynamic=more emersive=fun, but apperently that formula is for loser's so SWG went for another aproach slow=like any flight simulater made in the early 90's=suck.
HEY! those flight simulators are great! I fell in love with F/A-18 in early age...

how many times can you go around abasketballin ten seconds walking.. how many times can you go around the earth in the same amount of time.
technically, it should take a ship a hell of a lot longer to go from point a to b if the ship was going the same speed as a bike. the ship obviouslywould haveto be going faster to compensate for the distance from the planet but since it does take awhile to get from point a to b anyways it just means that the starwars ships aren't as great as you would hope..

you can thank the pansies with their ranting in the SW forum for capping looted engine speeds at around 85.

Ships are very fast with right configuration. You can do a quarter run in less than 6 seconds with 103 speed engine EO3 and booster. And this very very fast.
