Or does it seem like a lot of people get a silent holo before the 4th holo?
With so many people grinding out over 15 professions, wouldn't it be highly unlikely to guess one of the 5 professions so soon?
Just something I thought about.

Its because they mastered a profession that would have been a holo profession before they did the holo's

Took me 3 holo's than silent. took my friend just one but like me he mastered a total of 6 professions before we go silent.

If I lay 32 cards on a table and I have a chance to pick 6 out of 32 cards...what are the odds that I will pick 4 out of the 5 preselected cards?
There has got to be something more to it than 4+1...although none of this will probably help unlock faster..

definitely must be more than just 4+1. I mastered like 3 professions before my holos. My 4th was silent.

That's why they call them odds. With 400,000 ppl takinga turn. Some will pick all 5, some will draw 0.
As is lotteries.

Take a look at me I mastered 2 professions and my 3rd holo was silent. Meaning my first two profs were holo profs. Thats pretty messed up. I am of the opinion that it is slightly more than random.

Of course.
But, there is a high percentage of people who tend to "win the lottery".
In fact, I don't know many people who have mastered 8 or more professions before opening there 4 holo and NOT gone silent. There are some, but not many I am sure.

Has anyone been teased because they said the words "Force Sensitive Slot"? My wife loves to ask me daily if I've had any luck with my "force sensitive slot" and how that was working for me.

I never used the offical terminology with my wife, I just said, Unlocking my Jedi... Im sure in the grand vision of wifenese she pictured my jedi in some sort of cell with me trying to find the key, but hey what can you do.
