EXACTLY! Guys there is no timeline. Only all the things meshed together. But this is a game, not the movies. As I recall you can fly in the "Jedi Starfighter" but whats this? Seems like there were none when luke killed the DS. funny...I recall just doing a missin from him, but hese a jedi...

And another thing, people, have you *ATTEMPTED* to write programs? Do you know what its like for the devs? It just ticks me off that so many people want this and that but due to the structure and "largness" of the game, it takes months to enter in a new code into the program and the time to MAKE IT. You act like you can sit down with a speeker box, speak into it, and its imprinted into the game. LOL! Now im not exactly "flaming" anyone here. Or anyone in general, im "telling" whoever is anrgy with the devs,to just shutup because when*YOU* can write the perfect game, then I will admit im an idiot, and slam my face into the ground and bow to you.

hey nate. guess what. we all pay a monthly fee. im sure the devs are makin loads off this game. and you know what? why shouldnt they work for that money? they are PAID to program this game for us. thats their JOB. if its hard, well they can find a new job. we all play this game. if we want changes, we ask the devs. thats why we pay a monthly fee.

I love how paying freaking some 50 cents a day entitles everyone to having their own personal vision of how SWG should be is the highest priority of the DEV's. We all pay money true. The DEV's do their jobs. The fact that they let us post ANYopinions and they take ANY notice of the posts and feedback is a wonder in itself. I think Nate was just trying to state the obvious, SWG is not EQ.the thing I like the most about SWG is for the most part it tries to not be like most other MMORPH's and with doing that the coding from the game is HUGE. It all takes time and all because you pay 50 cents a day will not make it become so over night.

DEV's make loads off the game? LOL yeah.... with Sony and Lucas Arts owning the game I'm sure the DEVs pockets are just overflowing with cash. HA.

The other thing I wish people would get off of is the whole timeline thing. I've read alot of the EU books. I know the lore. Get over it.. if you enjoy SW then enjoy SW related things. If paying a monthly fee and the things in game make people so upset just cancel your account and go elsewhere(cancel and DON'T post about leaving.. we don't care)

It's called Suspension of Disbelief numbskull. In other words, what occurs in film "really happens" in the universe we're playing in, so yes, it was being built in the mean time; it did not just appear in space.

sorry, i didnt mean to flame... my bad there.

i was just saying, that i thought that was WHY we paid a monthly fee. so we could put in some feedback, and get changes made... i apologize if i misinterpreted that

Glzmo was a great visionary. Perhaps SOE should have listened to him instead of rebuilding everything all the time.

I understand that for a story to be beliveable and truley encaplulateing, it needs to maintain a sence of continuity (like a beliveable timeline) Tho with the amount of shier industrial POWER that an entire galactic empire could muster, when focused on a single project, i'm not skeptical that something the sise of the Deathstar could be easaly concived in a mearhandfull of years... all that asside, this poast actualy reminded me of a quote from a nother of George Lucas' clasic films (that also featured Harrison Ford, intrestingly enough) so i submit, purely for your enjoyment:

~"... Plan?! I'm makeing this up asI go!..."~

~Indiana Jones (Ford) "Raiders of the Lost Arc"

~"...I choose, neither to affirm, nor deny the existance of reality..."~
~Amus 'DJH' Goodfellow

Your first two posts.... both about where is a death star. No offense bro but it seems like you just bought an account from e-bay logged in and found no DS, so now you are pissed.

And yes most likely DS will be never built. Death Star 2 is 160km in diameters, our space secotors are 15k wide....

Actually if this is between The Empire Strikes Back and The Return of the Jedi then luke had been to Dagobah once.. but he had to leave for certain reasons and returned later again in EP6

It's between ANH & ESB.

I always thought DS1 was the prototype for DS2...

You see, it's like this ...

Imperial Security forceskept encounteringstrange rebel prophets who kept talking about a mythical "Episode 6" situation in which they defeat the Empire in a climactic battle over Endor as if it had already happened. Whether this future scenario would have been true or not is now moot, as their own big mouths have more than leaked enough information to the Empire to realize there was a security risk, and thus the project has been relocated to a new undisclosed location. If that fails, there is always the Chronosphere ...

Its posible we might see in in the background of the Endor system at some point, I did the Storm Squadren missions and some fo the escort missions where for a "Secret" construction mission that would be carried out in the Endor system

I remember correctly from one of the books the 2nd deathstar was built in large sections in another system, I wanna say it was Kessel but not possitive, its been a few years. Anyway, the large seconds were moved to Endor for the final constuction. Maybee someone here knows for sure. But yes the deathstar should be under constuction at this time.

The first Death Star was built behind the "Maw" which is the largest of the Black Holes in the Kessel System. It was built behind that so that ships couldn't fly in behind the hole without LOTS of difficulty, so of course that means that it couldn't be detected or destroyed very easily. But yes, I assume the second Death Star was built in other systems and shiped and pieced togeahter in the Endor System.

eurno_ebaebro_kryra Wrote:

yeah, i read that one too, but they only built the PROTOTYPE DS there, not the real one, the prototype was still there in the book.

Yeah, I guess your right. I have The Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels infront of me and it says nothing about The Maw. HOWEVER it does say thatthe FIRST time the Death Star used its superlaser was to destroy the "penal world of Despayre". I assume that would have been where the majority of it was made. I'll take a look at a couple of my other books to see what I can find.
