the one that would work to me is making active guild halls able to launch from the roof and basicaly any guild you put as a freind can land or take off in your guild that way if you do have a guild war or somthing members of your guild and allies can get straight in the action and it would also alow for easy travle between factions that like each other.

plus they stated that coding for star ports would be impossible for player cities due to the fact they are considered temporary structures.

player starports would only be the same as a shutle port but add galaxie travle after all that is the only diferance apart from size.

Honestly I'd like to see a bigger starport, something really impressive looking, to help add
character to these player cities

still the same, people will still have starports, lol.. but I was thinking, maybe like the random Stormie drop off we see now and again.. maybe if players could do that with our groups, like coming in toa certain planet with your group, and you wanna drop them off, turn around and go back for more without landing.. Maybe even give us a skill to do that later on in our pilot professions. /target anchorhead;/dropoff 10... you'd apear as your still in space, those players are automaticly in the shuttleport of anchorhead, and all you need to do is turn around and do it again or land in a starport.

That's a great idea, although i'm stumped again, good thing you didn't say the shuttles would really land and people would see them, that would cause for a lot of lag, but...what if lets say you were on naboo, and there was a raid on...tattooine, a bunch of people are already there but they need back up, you get your team and file in, your on your way to tat, but the raid is near fort tusken, and your closest is 3km out, you should be able to plot cords as of where to land, that would make for good PVP relations and make PVP much more realistic, imagine how much more fun, dangerous, and harder pvp would be with that, maybe that would be only avaliable to more expeirenced pilots? as others must land in starports...then the skill for shuttleports...then the skill to land wherever with cords.
