w-t-f, the mon cal? dood mon cals were slightly smaller than ISD's. if SOE did them no bigger than gunships then they need pimpslapped![]()
and umm... well i never really read all those books... never went out and bought them, but i really want to lol. only one i have to quote is the Essential Guide
also. in my quote, Medical Frigate is italicized. this means that it is a NAME of a ship. the ship the nebulon-b is turned into is the term 'medical frigate' in general, not a specific noun. im thinkin two seperate things here?

According to this, Mon Cals like the Home One were actually more than twice the size of a Star Destroyer.
yeah i got that from x-wing vs tie fighter, which has mon cal listed as 2.6km and ISD listed as 3.2km... i always just assumed they doubled the lengths for gameplay purposes and that mon cals were 1.3km and ISD 1.6km... making a mon cal slightly smaller... meh
*sigh* ill just shut my mouth before i finally manage to get my foot all the way in.

Its been a while since I played the pen and paper RPG for star wars but I do recall the Corellian Corvette class ships being considered "capital ships". Also, the Mon cal ships where not ALL larger than star destroyers, but the big ones where about the same size as a super-star destroyer (about 3km long)
again, quoting my sometimes incorrect source... Essential Guide...*slapself* oh well, here goes anyways...
"At 8,000 meters long, it was the largest traditional starship constructed by the Imperial Navy..."
heres another of my 2 creds, which im finding lately have little or no real value >_<
