My most fondest memory..the day they added content....I hypered into the lok system and had the dogfight of my life! I had missiles coming at me from outside the asteroid field and laser fire coming from inside, weaving my way around the asteroids to save my life. Eventually after wave after wave i had to hyper out...aaaah good memories

Ohhh....something I totally forgot that was a partcularly funny, albeit annoying memory, that only those of us early on in beta got to witness:
The 'magnet'-like bug which attracted practically all NPC ships in the entire Corellian zone (perhaps others, but the one I always witnessed it in was Corellia) to 0,0,0.....in which they then engaged in this massive 'furball pocket' of fighting each other that would send your FPS down to about 1 frame per every 3-4 seconds whenever you'd get near it.

My favorite has to be taking the Sorosuub out for the first time.
About 10 of my fellow citizens (New Haven, Naboo, Sunrunner server) also got into Beta, so we all piled into my Sorosuub & took off from Moenia. Being a Master Musician in Beta, as on Sunrunner, I dropped a nalargon into the party area & started to play as a friend piloted the ship through various loops & turns.... then I went back to the controls & took us through a Nebula... we parked inside for a bit & watched the lightning effects. Very cool, and a fun time was had by all!
Oh.. and SPARKY THE SPACE BOL!

Ithink my best memories involve multiplayer ships.
Manning one of the turrets on aYT1300 ,
shouting 'they're coming in too fast' in groupchat and annoying everyone
Launching out in the sorosub for the first time, just after the server went up, getting out the pilots seat and walking around.Farstar server have our own chat channel on beta1, I was so awestruck with what i was seeing, i just typed
vet yacht-oh my god.
The one that will always stay with me, and is a defining moment, the way you rememberplaying shareware doom the first time, pressing the launch button on the X wing for the first time, and loading up with a cockpit view of it.zooming out to 3rd person view, panning the camera and pressing 'o'.
Fantastic.

I have 2.
1. Being able to fight in space before the ships were slowed down. As it stands right now, there is no way I will play this game for long. It will become a $40 purchase so that I never have to wait on shuttles again.
Nobody wants a slow game!
2. Taking the Gun ships up for the first time. The Decimator is the best.

My best experience? Hmm...
Probably after about a week of flying when I looted this AWESOME engine (pre-ship mass, loot changes) that had just under 100 to pretty much everything.
Flying my X-wing with that engine really made me think I was flying, oposed to standing still (My only big problem with JTL). Rotating around on a dime and shooting things up the arse at 1/3 speed, blasting past them at 1/2 speed
Unfortunately I don't have any experiences to relate post the above mentioned changes due to schedule conflicts (AKA school bites sometimes).
All in all I had a blast

Seeing how good a Z-95 would be with pre-mass changes in. Put a 73 speed engine and heavy blaster on it, that thing looked rockin' the engines+booster looked just about the same size as the entire chassis. And it rocked, that thing accelerates and decelerates so frigin' fast
I hope that can be made into a viable higher lvl ship sometime in the future

Well the first time I joined up with the imperial navy was quite cool, with the imperial soundeffect & salute
Also I gotta say one of the highpoints for me was when I took a m8 up in my Y-wing for the first time, it was very cool to have him along as a gunner and blast everything we saw over yavin4
A very cool mulitplayer experience, clearly beating when I tried Halo and was a gunner on a vehicle by far.

Hunting Corellian Corvettes with KStarfire, Jester, and a few others in the Decimator, then landing and seeing Thunderheart's character.

Going after the Star Destroyer in Deep Space with some buddies. Not only is the model of the ISD fantastic (and considering I'm a really nitpicky professional 3D artist and Star Wars ship geek, that's saying something), but getting my A-wing shot up during a poorly-timed turn sent me careening out of control smack into the bridge. Could almost hear bridge officers going "Intesify forward firepower! Intensify forward firepower!!!"
Um, only instead of another officer diving for cover yelling "Too late!", I got turbolasered to death just before the big finish.

I'd have to say my most memorable experience was my very first flight into Space. It was great!! I felt very immersed into the game, to a degree that I never had in the ground game. Not to say that the ground game is no good-- on the contrary, this expansion truly does act as a perfect SUPPLEMENT to the ground game. Couldn't imagine one without the other, now that I've experienced both.
