I remember TH saying that right now, JTL is just a space "frame" for them to work off of later.
Me too.... later may mean 3 months or it may mean 10 or 12 months.

I quit the game for awhile last fall and tried out some other MMORPGs. When I dropped my account I didn't come back here to tell everyone else about it though.
However, after trying those other games (which were fun for awhile and bug-free) I found myself wandering in those worlds wondering what I was going to do when I master my profession or class. You see, in those games you CANNOT master professions, jobs, class, whatever. Which is the problem, and why I came back. As I cranked out each level there was a new level for me to HAVE to get to, just to HAVE to get the level after that. If you think you'll ever be done leveling in a traditional MMORPG, and are willing to play until you do well, someone's gonna enjoy your paycheck.
Did I do any content? Nope. Did I have fun with friends? Nope. I just leveled, always and indefinately. I never had an in-game house (there weren't any house systems worthwhile to use, if any house system at all), no place my character could call home. Just a world filled with bees, bunnies and orcs for me to kill and level up on indefinately.
You can probably see why I came back, even for just awhile.... Sure there's bugs, no content, easy to level, whatever.... But at least I don't feel like I'm being tricked to believe those things are in the game because of the mirage of the next level, next step in the treadmill. Sure, I might not be here in SWG for its full lifetime.... But I'm sure to not go back to the more traditional MMORPG grind. Guild Wars is looking promising so far, and is my next MMORPG choice if I move from SWG.

Mr. Realistic here.
The glass ishalf full and the glass is half empty.
Both statements are equally true.
We've been waitingover a year fora combat revamp, over a year fora GCW Revamp, over a year forSmuggler Revamp, etc.
History may not repeat itself, but it sure does rythme a lot.

First of all I don't think a person who will be cancelling his account on Wednesday has any right telling us what to do with the game we still play.
As stated earlier in this thread, Ionly want the best for SWG. Hopefully, SOEmight listen to the players as to why they are leaving. It might help prevent more cancellations.
