Tracking bonus is ok if you want to master.
As for the camo kits, I rarely use them.

I read that camo is better than takecover for rifleman when shooting at a creature, but I have not tested this.

Hrm... someone just asked that questions HERE. Lots of good replies and usual Ranger silliness.

1. How will I know when a 'phase' changes in Aurillia?
2. I have so far only unlocked the combat tree so have't had the chance to find out but... can I convert left over FS Combat xp to, say, FS Reflex xp?

You will know when the phase changes when you talk to a NPC and he has a different quest than he did before. pretty easy . Oh and Phases changes happen only on Tuesdays.

To answer question number 2....No. Once you turn regular XP into FS xp that is it..

Is it even possible for me to pursue jedi at combat lvl 18 going pistoleer without it taking a year, because I want to put all my exp possible into jedi.
Also, I didnt know where else to post this 2nd question - but is the game still down? I got on to see that I couldn't log on, it wouldnt even show server names or my characters clothes on the select screen. Just making sure Im not the only one. Sorry.

master pistoleer first, or something. i was grinding senses, and i was like...i could grind out doc (i was master medic), but i want to put all the xp into senses instead of into doc, but in the long run it goes by much faster if you go ahead and master it first, then grind the force sensitive xp

To get the content badges is half the battle, for tht you will need to be at least like lvl 65. and the FS conversion, you have to get like millions and millions of XP, so little durnis or Chubas are going to be 1 millionth of xp that you have to do.

Get CL 80 first. Every level you achieve gets you more exp per kill. So if you are on Lok hunting CL 82 gurks at level 18 you aren't getting the 7.1k exp that I get at CL80, you get MUCH less. Also at CL 18 you will never kill those Sith that ambush you which is the first step after getting "glowy".
All in all I suggest getting CL 80 first. If you can get into hunting groups it might take you a month depending on how much you play.
