Has anyone thought of the possibility that all the ships were meant to complement each other in a PvP warzone battle?
Not just the Awing. Not just the Oppressor. Not just the Xwing. Not just the Firespray.
All of them! Working together! Within the battle, the Awing notices the Interceptor going for the Bwing, so the Awing breaks off the Interceptor's attack, engages and dogfights.
Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who know how to fight a battle.
Awwww, no one's in the PvP zone? Poor wittle baby.....
Then get your dead @$$ off this forum, get ingame, take the initiative and set something up!! Fight the war, dammit!!

Every ship has a role to play and so you aren't advancing through the tree to get a better ship your getting the ability as a pilot to choose the right ship for the right mission. The Bwing is a capitol ship killer. It's a weapons platform plain and simple. I have started taking mine on vette runs with the group I play with. We load out with a wing of fighers (X, A) on escort detail and a designated group of bombers (bwing, ywing, MP).I think they did the system pretty well as it's almost like levels of responsibility and competence.
I am simply evaluating all of the ships equally... the Xwing is f***ed for mass. It has acceptable manueverability, and incredible firepower, but it lacks the mass to support it....
Yeah, hey, bummer. The X-Wing is supposed to be the direct competitor to the Interceptor, and while they have competetive stats, you still have a significant edge on us in mass.

Hmm...I wonder if anyone read my post, or are just more interested in complaining.
You have to step back and look at the whole picture. The strength is in the squadron, not the individual ship.
C'mon, people.
