Thread: Theme Parks REQUIRED for pilots? Anyone else hate this?

Umm yes they are you cannot get in thethrone room without at least doing part of the park. However you don't have to do it all.


And BTW so what. With a speeder the jabba theme park takes 2 hours tops and the things you attack are designed for low level players.


and I KNOW you DONT need to have a good faction standing with him.


I did the theme park months ago, have the badge and access to the throne room. My Jabba faction is -5000 atm and I could talk to biessa all I needed to.

I like it. Keep it the way it is. It's a nice way of tying the ground game and Space game together. AND it fits in with the STAR WARS title.

I did the theme park about a year ago as a novice marksman before I even heard of buffs. Its really not that bad.

Yeah I dont like them bringing in theme parks either! Should also add pilot crafting missions for thouse who dont like fighting.

Reality check: How could you consider youself amaster Tattoonien privateer without having down the Jabba themepark.


I do have to say though, I was sure glad that had alreadydone the Jabba park before JTL came out

i was about the same thing- CH/pistoleer but I was also a Rogue. I suggest you pick up dirty fighting soon if your a pistoleer, its a must for pistols. You wont regret putting off advancement of brokken specials for some smuggler offense skills.

That theme park aint that bad its actually somehwat fun, and the rewards sometimes are worth like 1 million to some players.

I think alot of ppl are willing to help in space, cause when you get to Duty tier 4 missions, it gets boring. Its not a drag to help someone out, the loot is usually better, you don't have to hunt hard for spawns, and you learn about other missions. Then who know's that pilot might be some uber weaponsmith on the ground or someone else good to know.

I soloed Jaba's theme park with no armor, no buffs, no food, no psg, no pet, no medic skills as a novice pistoleer 0000. I only died twice and the tuskens didn't kill me. I used a scout blaster and the pistoleer acid pistol. But I've been playing the game for a long time and I'm not too proud to run from a fight. I like the fact that you have to do the theme park to work for Jabba but why just the smugglers? It's quite a long theme park. The one thing that really bothered me about doing Jabba's theme park to continue your smuggler pilot quest is that Jaba's thugs spawn all around "The Lucky Despot". I have positive 100 or so Jabba's faction when I started pilot but I had to kill so many ofhis thugs just to do my tier two mission that I was at-2500 by the end. So I had to invest hours into buying that off and Valarains don't have a static spawn in Mos Entha,or anywhere that I know of anymore. Also Jaba's palace is quite a ways from the nearest starport and there isn't a ship launching terminal at the palace.

What level fighter are you? Were you buffed? I mean really, all of the themeparks are time consuming but I definitely would not describe them as advanced missions requiring the leveling of several ground combat skills. And yes I have done Jabba's as well as the Rebel Themepark.

just do the park, get it over with and quit complaining. it's not that bad, as everyone has atested to, and if you are too lazy to waste an hour doing a thempark... then drop your smuggler pilot skills and go corsec or RSF... obviously you aren't dedicated enough to bother with working with jabba.

My main is a Pistoleer/CH, and these targets con yellow even to him. Inexcusable, forcingground game targets of this levelon JTL pilots like this!


Is this true for the other pilot arcs? Are you required to do the theme parks at some point? Does anyone else hate being forced to do this also?





I didnt read through 90% of the posts ,but i mean please.... I am a Master pistoleer/RANGER (no useful combat skill vs. NPC's) and with ONE drink of brandy and ONE drink of arrakksomthing (the wookiee action buff drink) andONE compostite chest platei can solo a tusken warlord. Tusken raiders i can do unbuffed. Its not high lvl combat, just KD and health shot2 with a stun or acid type pistol and they die quick, and your a CH so u can have pets distract them.


Also JTL is an EXPANSION of the ground game, so yes you will be required to suffer through some parts of it at some point (you really think you can afford a teir 4 or 5 ship on a pilots pay?)
