Of course if I had my way, cap ships wouldn't be JTL limited, but open to all players to experience. Perhaps just JTL enabled pilots could man ship stations, but everyone would be able to step on a ISD deck for a PVP raid, RP event, or sightseeing tour.







In this case, while the guild would posess the ship (thereby soft-limiting the number of ships per server), every member would be able to board it. The only requirement would be that ship stations (i.e. ships captain, weapons arrays, engines, defenses) would require JTL or similar expansion to man....


Does this mean that non-JTL focused guilds would be screwed? Everyone still gets to ride/explorefight onthe cap ship (unlike the current implementation that requires riders to own JTL on POB ships). You look at cap ships as something for the "pilot" and that's just not going to work....the earlier example of 12 caps in a sector is a pretty low number. If every player is afforded the opportunity to possess a cap ship via mission, you can bet the number is going to be higher than 12. In that event you can kiss your average fighter/POB ships goodbye and see JTL focused guilds really own space.


Like I said, it's not perfect but it's an idea and it's not near as bad as you make it out to be.

The problem with SOE is nobody is leading star wars galaxies (or not with any ability its all a fumble) they dont even know what the game should be about. From day 1 they need a plan of what the game is going to be about andwhat they want it to do. To simply say they are going to change professions because they think it would be cool is complete stupidity. Same with cap ships we have POBs they are like cap ships nobody uses them much though so why would they use cap ships? They should concentrate on removing some of the bugs in the game and then move forward.


Anyway id like to see a few changes in space


First of all id like to be able to share POBs with other people if your to have a good one then u need to have REd equipment which is cool but the investment in time and money is immense.


Docking in space would be good ie people docking with your ship and boarding it.


New tiers ie master flight artistray for neutral pilots should lead toanother flight profession for POB ships ie heavier weapons etc etc. maybe ability to share your ship with friends.


Then if they implemented cap ships I would like to see another pilot tier therefore would be 1 for fighter pilots/POB mid sized ships/cap ships. I think that would provide more of a challenge.


Anyway what do you all think?
