Nearro quotes the Pilot FAQ:
(Tier 5) B-Wing: 150k Resources ~240k mass [SP: 4 Guns] 2 missiles
[Spdx 0.85(Foils Closed) 0.80 (Foils Open) Acc 10 Dec 15 Pitch 50 Yaw 50 Roll 25]

As to getting one, check your server's trade forums. That's the best place to start.

Yeah, I have to agree that the b-wing is about the only fighter that can trade licks with a gunboat and win

And I agree that the b-wing handles like a POB

Actually, I think my Nova could beat my b-wing in that department

I acctually think POBs handle better than the Bwing. Bwing has got someserious oversteer, more than POBs.

heavy firepower for little handling or little power for good handling, in JTL you want the power in your punch cause you can get engiines to fix you manuevering problem

I've always wanted to try the B-Wing, but I just love being an imperial pilot too much.....

I did have an alt once that got all the way to 4443 Alliance Pilot, but I felt so icky that I switched to freelance..... please don't tell my guild about that

If I ever get enough GOOD guns to make four RE10s, THENmaybe I'll try a Bwing. I wonder if it'd be worth it using four Mark 5 quickshots until then.....

But a freelance can load out a Krayt (same mass) with just as much firepower (minus one missile launcher, and do the same thing. PVP this shouldnt be a issue because of the huge hitbox that the B-Wing/Krayt share.

1 gun is a turret and 30k less mass. B-Wing isn't really that big. Top to bottom isn't much more than the wingspan of the X-Wing. It just seems big since it's so slow. Check the comparison shots in the FAQ.

Oversteer: don't move the stick faster then she can move and you'll never oversteer.

Well that was definetly my favorite rebel ship. I palyed long hours in it. One of the main things is in PvE keep your speed at about 55-60% of it's max and it helps the ship respond a little better, and reduces your tendancy to overcorrectand thus less oversteer. A big bonus is at that speed you can still turn just fast enough to keep up with the target lead for ust about any AI Enemy ship. Even the little fast ones.

Same is also VERY ture I found out with the TIE bomber, which I had the pleasure of using today in my Imp Vette run. Very effective. With the loadout I had on it.... poor gunboats... LOL!! And I found her responsive enough (just like the B) to take out the A wings that came. All in all... it just takes lots of practice to fly it. But once you are comfortable you're a monster.

Oh and also LOVE the M22.... man so much fun. especailly if you bring a friend as a gunner. Deep Space is mad fun in one. And even though you might get vaped by a JSF having that gunner with you might make them think twice before trying to get on your 6 or strafing ya.

Poor poor GBs lol

(can you tell I like heavy fighters lol)

The Krayt is nice, but I've always liked the Rhix more, but i think its more of an aesthetic thing... the Krayt looks kind of like a giant piece of poo flying through space. The Rhix on the other hand looks, and flies like a big bruising tank.
