So what exactly is going on? can someone tell me why the free unlocks are doing this? and for what purpose with the melee speed which i already have filled from the last time it was around.

No, I completed the quest but didn't check to see if I got the tree. Upon logging today, got message saying I failed Melee Speed quest, though I'm positive I didn't. Then it said I had unlocked Ranged Accuracy and gave me the sculpture piece.

actually the sculpture piece was from phase 4. maybe I already had it.

last quest i did i got the same messege .. phase 4 range something... said i failed after i got journal update that says i completed it .... bug bug bug...... 
wish i got a random unlock tho lol ... i master 3 prof. without a holocron and get screwed out of a free unlock ..... no fais * crys

lol if I had just gotten the skill I earned and a free unlock that I DIDN'T have I'd be done
