it all depends on my current ship,im crrently stuck in an x-wing grinding for my a-wing and use third person for it,however when i get my a-wing (i did get to use one in beta,love em) ill be using first person,its easier to aim in the little speedy guys withf irst person,and i prefer cockpit on for that extra sense of realism,as for joystick,i have a saitek cyborg evo,im a 3-3-3-2 (damn you dath bugged mission) rebel pilot,and my prefered ship even once master (from my experiance in beta) is the a-wing

I dont use the view because it gives or takes advantage, i like the 'realism'of inside viewmore..Only time i use the outside view is, when near a big ship to see the dimensions compared to my Tie.
