I name all my ships after different Gundams. Can't help being a Mobile Suit freek.

very mundane name for a good reason
"Gold 3" on whatever craft i am flying.
its my squadren and number in my clan...
though i also used "baliskner" after thors ship from SG-1

Just got my first Dunelizard last night, thanks Nareese. Outfitted the crap out of it and took it for a spin. I renamed it after my first one but I'm rethinking that. After seeing someone's Wrath of Jehova name, I'm going to change mine to an old sniper character I created years ago called Zilthai. Which means Shadow of God in Hebrew.
BTW, did anyone know that the word Uzi means power of God in Hebrew?

- X-wing is called the "REDEEMER", I was an Imperial till I saw the err' of my ways and switched to Rebel, ie. my redemption
- A-Wing is called the "BANSHEE", the common expression forsomethinggoesvery fast is that it was "screaming". - Y-wing and Y-Wing LP are named the "BALOR" and "BALOR - LP", I also have a variant with more concentration on Ordinance mounts which is named the "BALOR - LP HOV", HOV stands for Heavy Ordinance Variant. Balor is a God from Celtic Mythology: In the Celtic-Irish mythology, Balor is the god of death and the king of the Fomorians, a race of giants. He was the son of Buarainech and the husband of Cethlenn. Balor had only one eye, which he kept closed because anything he looked at would die instantly." With the weapons firing so tight together a volley from all cannons is very tight as if coming from "one eye"... the the Y-Wing's mass means that it can pack quite a punch in one volley.
- B-Wing is called the "KATANA", simply the B in B-Wing refers toa Blade shape, the KATANA being a sword is a blade
- Nova Courier is called the "NEMESIS", The dictionary definition "One that inflicts retribution or vengeance"; alsoNEMESIS Greek Mythology The goddess of retributive justice or vengeance.
- Sorosub is called "Turo's Pride", roleplaying that I inherited it from my father Turo Taerin

My YT-1300 is called the Argonuat. In the spirit of the wonderful Ray Harryhousen adventure film "Jason and the Argonauts", with that still cool today, final skeleton swordfight!

My Y-wing, Y-wing L.P. and B-wing are all named "Thunderbolt".
My X-wing is named "Lightning".
Both after famous WW II Fighters.
My Yacht is named "Constellation".
After the famous Prop-powered airliner. Slow, but classy.
